Snidget, thank you, thank you, thank you for all the ECST threads! The show wouldn't be the same without them and when traveling they are wonderful to be able to catch up on the show without having to scour the web. Thanks for all you do!

So for tonight, a tray of veggies and dips, salsa and chips, (can you tell I need to crunch?) and Coronas for swigging. Got to run out for some limes. Can't decide if I should swig when Kara irritates me or when Simon irritates me or both. In any event, dig in!

No twitters from Ryan over the last couple of hours. Apparently tear down to get set up for the finale starts 1 minute after they manage to wrap up the show. Maybe the stage crew can make them end on time. Wouldn't it be funny if they started on time even if the show didn't end on time.

Over 88 million votes. Isn't that more than the average US Presidential Election?

That said, the average US Presidential Election is probably (not counting 2000), one vote per voter. In the case of AI, this could be 1,000 underage school kids voting their heads off!

I noticed "Everybody Wants To Rule The World" as theme music in Kris's vid and "Teenage Wasteland" in Adam's. I don't recall Danny's but I hope that Kris's was some good foreshadowing.

Also, I don't think they showed Danny singing in his hometown visit, while both Kris and Adam were shown singing in theirs.

Ya know - all in all, this has got to be crazy freaky for them. You hear about overnight sensation describing peeps who have been on the circuit for 10, 15, 20 years, ala Bonnie Rait. But these guys are completely thrown into the madness with no prep at all.

Kris was probably sitting on his couch 9 months ago on a Saturday night just strumming away, and now he's driving up in a limo to thousands of screaming fans.

It's unbelievable, really.

Woo! I gave an actual out loud cheer when Kris was announced. I actually cast my first votes of the season last night for Kris because I thought he deserved to be in the finals, and Danny bores me.

With less than 1 million votes between Kris and Adam (according to what Ryan said), I'm thinking that Kris has a good shot at winning, and that's the best outcome for both the finalists.

I almost, almost went back downstairs to finish watching the hockey game after this. I was irritated that I had to interrupt the hockey watching to watch this stupid show. What did they do? They made my night even better by declaring Kris safe first. Curiosity got the best of me though and I decided to wait to find out who the other half of the finale was going to be.

Kris with a 'K' has become my favorite boy name.

Heels on the front steps. Could that be him? Is there one more week? Can she even hope for such little time?

Adam - Hey MC? You home?

MC - Adam? You're back! Oh, thank god. I was so afraid.

MC cannot hide the tears in her eyes as she realizes her time with Adam grows short. But at least they have a few more days together.

Adam - Why the tears?

Adam wipes the tears from MC's face.

MC - I'm okay. Hey! Let's go sit out on the swing and watch the stars.

Adam - Sure. Let me get out of these boots. You go get comfortable and I'll get changed. See you in a few minutes.

MC stands by the screen door, breathing in the country air. She opens the door, steps out onto the porch, letting it close behind her.

The fresh breeze catches her long, flowing skirt. The breeze feels cool on her skin. Adam steps throught the screen door, dressed in loose linen pants and an open shirt. The Sweet 'n Low seems to have done it's job.

MC and Adam enjoy the stars as they share a swing.

From a distance the song of the ice cream truck filters through their comfort.

It's going to be a long night.

Find the vote breakdown. They never ever release the vote totals. Nigel admitted they play fast and loose with the bottom three, so you can't even be sure which of the two safe ones had more votes than the other.

Dialidol has data on busy signals from the people that use the service, but it isn't an accurate vote total. I has some predictive value, but doesn't look at text votes and can't really be used to extrapolate the real vote totals.

The data you provided on the states turned out to be correct--Adam had more first and seconds than the other two, and Kris has more first and seconds than Danny.
