LAST EDITED ON 01-28-04 AT 09:25 PM (EST)Larissa is all giggly back at her house after the studs (jerks) have joined the show. "I don't think I've ever dated any guys as hot as these guys," she says, still giggling.
We cut to the guy's house. Tony tells the other Joes how much Larissa was smiling at the studs as they were coming in and introducing themselves. We see a clip of the scene, and Tony is looking over at Larissa to see how she's reacting. Yes, Larissa is all smiles over the hunks, but she looks back at Tony and smiles at him too. (In other words, "I still like you too, dude.") But Tony looks away, embarrassed. Larissa then looks away frustrated, as if she's thinking, "oh no ... the male ego. What am I going to do about him?"
We cut back to Larissa's house. She says she likes the new guys, but she still likes the Joes too. She hopes the Joes take it all with a good attitude.
Interesting stuff, huh?
I think Larissa is obviously blown away by the hunks. Apparently even she has never dated guys like that before, so you know that she's going to check them out.The best thing any Joe can do at a time like that is to still consider himself in the race. Maintain yourself self-esteem. Don't count yourself out. You've got other things to offer her, especially if you're Tony.
What I was implying, however, is that Tony may have blown it. He should have smiled back at Larissa when the hunks were coming in, as if to say, "Yeah I know I'm still in this. I still like you too. Who cares about these other guys. We both know we're still together."
But instead Tony blew it, and he continued to blow it later on. For example, when he won the IQ test, Larissa was all smiles, but he was still kind of sulking.
Not good, Mr. Tony. I'm rooting for you, but you've got to get your act together, pal.
