"The Apprentice 3 Episode #14 East Coast Spoiler Thread"

Please keep all discussion of tonight's episode on this thread until those on the West Coast have a chance to see it. However, thanks to the unasked-for intervention of The Shrub, those of us on the East Coast may not get to see the episode before the Westies do. If ever. In that case, WCers, please feel free to fill us in on what happened in the morning. Or maybe we could just call this the West Coast Gloating Thread. 'Nyah-nyah, we didn't have to listen to the President in prime time!' Yeah, and you've got earthquakes, too. Life's funny that way.

Nope! Tha show is now on!

Alex returns from the boardroom and Tana & Kendra discuss who he will pick to move over to Net Worth.

They go downstairs, Trump tells him to choose, he chooses Tana.

OK Survivor is over and I found a Canada station on satellite that is showing The Apprentice now.

Trump looks like he is getting fatter in the face.

He assigns the teams artists to design commemorative t-shirts for Hanes and they will sell them at a store called Scoop.

You not watching Survivor?

LOL! I've never watched it yet, so why should I start now?

I'm a Survivor virgin. *snort*

Kendra and Craig are having a tough time getting along. Imagine that!

Craig says, "The only time Kendra asks for his opinion is when she wants to go with the exact opposite of it."

I agree with Craig about the star shirt vs. the heart shirt. I would have gone with the star because a star is universal while hearts shirts are more for girls.

Me too! ETA: Are men going to buy t-shirts with hearts? No.

Did you see that dumb look on her face when Craig was trying to tell her how she doesn't listen? LOL!

Oh I agree about the star vs the heart. A heart is more a female type of purchase.

Tana is PM for Net Worth. Her and Alex are going all the way to Staten Island for rhinestone beads. Alex says they need to concentrate on marketing.

He also says he's keeping a list of all of her decisions for the boardroom.

Kendra & Craig continue to argue about every little thing! He says she doesn't listen to his ideas and now she wants to finally hear what he has to say after the design was already done!

They go off in a cab arguing!

"So..."
Posted by AyaK on 04-28-05 at 09:23 PM
...Net Worth does the rhinestones, which must mean that Magna will market to the internet fan list of their artist.

No wonder they're showing Alex discussing marketing.

"RE: So..."
Posted by ARnutz on 04-28-05 at 09:30 PM
She was standing in the friggin' store with a glue bottle glueing the rhinestones on while people waited! What a waste!

Magna sold t-shirts to fans of the artists.

Net Worth sold 33 t-shirts and made about $1000.

Magna sold 101? t-shirts and made over $2000.

"RE: So..."
Posted by tannl on 04-28-05 at 10:01 PM
Magna priced the art at reasonable prices.

"RE: So..."
Posted by ARnutz on 04-28-05 at 10:05 PM
Yeah, plus they marketed to the artists fans and made a point of saying there was a limited edition and a collectors item.

Magna priced at $25 for a t-shirt & $35 for a long sleeve hoodie. LOL at the old guys saying "hoodie"!

Net Worth was priced at $42.99 for mens shirts and $54.99 for womens with the stupid rhinestones on it. They had no plan for selling them!

"RE: So..."
Posted by Loree on 04-28-05 at 10:27 PM
"Hoodie"

I loved watching the old guy say that. It was comical.

"RE: So..."
Posted by Loree on 04-28-05 at 10:26 PM
Tana bragging that the rhinestones caught the light like diamonds had me laughing till I almost fell over. I thought their stuff was more tacky than the other team. Of course Trump seems to love Tacky.

"Actually..."
Posted by AyaK on 04-29-05 at 12:38 PM
...I think The Donald's picture is in the dictionary illustrating "tacky."

Alex is the one who should be fired not Tana

When they went to the BR for the results, DT said there would be no more teams next week.

The reward was flying a Top Gun plane. Craig's dad was in the Air Force and Kendra's dad is a flight instructor?

"RE: The Apprentice 3 Episode #14 East Coast Spoiler Thread"
Posted by Loree on 04-28-05 at 10:33 PM
I don't think I would want to win that reward. I think I may get sick if I had to go up in a fighter jet. I like to fly. But I don't like going upside down.

Trump said: "Alex it is almost as if you sat back and hoped that she fail." "Alex you are fired."

Alex spent all of his time during the task looking for reasons to get Tana fired. He should have concentrated on winning the task.

Alex spent most of the season fault finding instead of actively participating in the winning of the tasks.

In the BR, DT says they failed on marketing and asks why they spent so much time going to Staten Island.

DT send them out, Carolyn says tana shouldn't work for him & George says she showed no fire.

They come back in and Tana starts fighting for herself. She brings up her record of 2-1. Alex can't remember his record, he thinks it's 1-1.

DT says, No you've lost twice and you haven't won since 8 weeks ago on the grafitti task.

DT says Tana has been doing well while Alex has been losing.

Alex... You're Fired!

Next week: The Interviews! ...and in the first 1/2 hour, the boardroom!

ETA: Dang posting is sooooo sloooow!

"Thanks guys"
Posted by kathliam on 04-28-05 at 10:02 PM
I was an unfortunate victim of the shrub's impromptu 'press conference' and had to choose between EPMB and EPMB-lite. I don't know if I'll have a chance to see the repeat on CNBC tomorrow night.

"RE: Thanks guys"
Posted by ARnutz on 04-28-05 at 10:06 PM
Friday: CNBC at 8 pm & 11 pm (also, they've been showing it the following Tuesday at 8 pm & 11 pm.)

I guess Pres. Bush doesn't know about the EPMB non-compete clause!

(I'm on Central Time, so I don't know the outcome yet)

...But, I would happily watch Kendra complain about Craig for 60 minutes. She gets so upset and worked up, it's quite hilarious. Her facial expressions? Priceless.

Kendra and Craig are BOTH a little crazy.

Oh yes, Kendra has the funniest facial expressions. And both Alex and Craig seem to be looking for reasons to blame the females if they end up in the boardroom.

True but Craig at least voiced his disagreements to Kendra while Alex kept quiet and took notes.

Oh, Alex did briefly talked about marketing but he had no ideas to offer Tana.

I saw Angie on the Dennis Miller show a couple weeks ago. Her remarks about Alex were not very flattering and I didn't expect him to last long.

Alex placed the whole responsibility for winning the task on Angie. He was the one who should have been fired for the tech design task.

"Tana saves her neck in the boardroom"

Her little speech was awesome.

Especially appealing to DT's ego: 'I want to work for you.'

Alex, you're fired.

"Kendra"
Posted by AyaK on 04-29-05 at 12:41 PM
Is there any doubt that Kendra is the performance star of this show so far? I was stunned that Amy Henry didn't reach the final two, but I'd be totally taken aback if Kendra doesn't win.

"RE: Kendra"
Posted by kahanasunset on 04-29-05 at 01:32 PM
Agreed. And unless she screws up (like you said earlier) or Tana somehow shines, Kendra's the next Apprentice.

Figuring out who DT really wants and deducing it from the editing and the clues is unfortunately what we're left with.
