So would you like us to abandon you now, or would you prefer we abandon you later? (Hope got left on the side of the road six seasons ago.)

Well, usually in reality TV it makes a much better story to let hope live for at least a little while before you dash it on the rocks.

So can we blame AI for the house that exploded that they are pimping for the local Fox 10 pm news?

They kept him away from the push-overables, but that part of the country is pretty flat, they might not have found anything..

Bring on the power and emotion...

and well something came out of her.

Simon says it sounded like a cat jumping off the empire state building.

"Ashley Anderson"
Posted by Snidget on 01-14-09 at 08:08 PM
Singing a song Simon cowrote.
and she gets the words wrong.

She is such a screamer. Simon says it is the best song all season.

4 yeses and off to Hollywood.

Way too cute.

They liked her voice. I would have liked to hear a song with more of a melody, but she is on to Hollywood.

"Brian Hettler"
Posted by Snidget on 01-14-09 at 08:19 PM
Montage of how the flat brings out the weird in people.

He was going to go into opera, but been out of music for two years.

Singing Aretha.

Oh dear. He left, or they locked him outside one night hoping he'd run off?

Simon says everything was wrong.

He sings some Josh Groben (sp?) when told not to sing at all.

It is a no and he doesn't hear what the judges hear at all.

"RE: Brian Hettler"
Posted by grit on 01-14-09 at 08:21 PM
Considering he "studied" opera for years, hoping to get into a conservatory, I thought he was going to be better. That was just weird.

"RE: Brian Hettler"
Posted by Estee on 01-14-09 at 08:22 PM
So if he just completely out of his field, or did something go majorly wrong in two years of downtime?

"RE: Brian Hettler"
Posted by Maroonclown on 01-14-09 at 08:24 PM
That was bizarre. If he dropped about 75 lbs he would be the exact image of my BF from Uni. Well, minus the bad wardrobe, but certainly the hair. So '80's

Spooky.

Could we be facing Musical Theatre?

All Jason All the time.

Oh he has a brother and he dips his head into the koolaid. The Pink haired of the two isn't the girly one?

Michael Castro. He just started singing, Oh that is a good sign.

Well that isn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. But is he squee-worthy?

Simon says it was goodish.
Kara says he has a secret, and Michael doesn't know what it is..

So he has 4 yeses and onto Hollywood.

Hey, he couldn't sing, but he was entertaining. I guess the producers think he can add a few viewer points to AI in Hollywood before he has to go home.

Unless, of course, he sings very very very very very very (six very's this time) good.

He was kind of funny, and he has a good visage. If only he could sing.

Just because you can make that high note doesn't mean it sounds good.

Some of them I couldn't figure out why they got a pass to Hollywood. Last year people I thought should have gotten thru didn't and this year they seem to have relaxed their own guidelines.
