Please keep all discussion of this episode on this thread until those on the West Coast have a chance to see the episode. And that's it. Just the West Coasters. You don't have to worry about the people who start threads in General Discussion tomorrow looking for someone who can send them a copy or point them at an illegal download site. It's just the West Coast airing and then you're in the clear. It couldn't be any more obvious if it was a TAR clue. Which means that Meredith and Uchenna, I want you to go to the beginning of the paragraph and start again.

Wow. Recursive loop.

And we're off!

Who will Chris attempt to drown in his tears tonight?

(That's still assault, right?)

Gee, I hope he doesn't cause a sticky goo in DT's hair!

Ooh. Product push - GM. And, the winners get a new car?

No, just the ultimate winner. The team probably gets to pay for it.

Wow, this editing is just pointing to Chris (finally) getting the boot tonight. The disaster thing came back in the suite, Chris and Alex pick arguably the worst member on Magna (I would have taken Tana personally, heck, I'd take Tana over any of them). Weird, weird, weird. Chris is as good as gone unless some miracle of sorts happens...

That was the creepiest laugh I've seen in a long time. And the Craig/Kendra feud (which could be solved) is starting to show.

I don't blame him one bit, I wouldn't want to leave a team of my #1, 2, and 5 candidates for a team of #3 and #6. He's a pretty smart guy after all!

Me either, especially since Chris was the one who sent him over there in the first place!

She's exempt. They lose and Bren and Alex know it's a 50-50 percentage of them getting fired. With Bren, it's 33%. That's why they didn't take Tana.

I thought the same thing.

...I cannot believe I missed that. Well, I would have taken pretty much any of them over Bren (including Craig, although they are interchangeable for me).

They are really hinting at a Kendra downfall tonight, which would stink if Chris won as PM and automatically got into the Final 4.

Hah, I posted the opposite thing, but I bet you're right, since I am a poor interpretor.

And I think Donald just spliced in a random crowd shot, they said his final message, and some lady was laughing hysterically in the bottom right corner...weird.

I like the lines but I'd want to know what kind of engine they put in it. Then maybe I'd trade my DH's Jeep, but I still want to keep my Stealth and Mitsi.

Yeah, I'd have to see what engine is in there too. Now I'm curious! I bet they'll show us a commercial at the end of the show.

Oh, by the way... Welcome to the boards!

Well, let's see.

Chris is PM, gets his job done
Delegates interior to Alex, who doesn't get it done.

Apprentice Logic: Chris is gone if he loses!

Chris' fault. The model would have made some sense for the exterior shots but putting a model together with Alex for the interior shots? He should have learned from the pizza challenge what Alex would focus on...

are we going with Kendra as being the hero?

"RE: At this point..."
Posted by Fishercat on 04-14-05 at 09:17 PM
I'd put a little money on Kendra at this point, but I think Chris could be it, since Alex looks like he just quit on him.

"RE: At this point..."

Alex really has become a loser!

"RE: At this point..."
Posted by volsfan on 04-14-05 at 09:26 PM
Alex has disappointed me now two weeks in a row. I really liked him at first...oh hell, what I am saying...I still really like because he is too cute to dislike. Know what I mean Nutz?

"RE: At this point..."

I know! If he'd just shut up & look good, he'd be OK.

Chris is a loudmouth jerk. Bren is a sexist jerk. Alex is a horny jerk. So I don't really care which one goes but my vote at the moment is Alex for being a stupid, horny, jerk.

"RE: The Apprentice 3 Episode #12 East Coast Spoiler Thread"
Posted by Fishercat on 04-14-05 at 09:24 PM
My money is on Chris, since it looks like Networth is in line to lose again, and I can't say it is undeserving. When you lose 7 (which this would be IIRC, maybe 8?) tasks in a row, well, you need to be a diamond in a pit of trash to stay.

"RE: The Apprentice 3 Episode #12 East Coast Spoiler Thread"

I dislike Bren so much that I almost wish he had been fired instead of Chris. I knew Chris was not going anywhere in this game. But the longer Bren sticks around the sicker I get.

Did Michael (that's the lazy bastage from earlier this year, right?) reincarnate his soul in Tana's body.

At this point, I'm rooting for Kendra if her team wins, and if she's gone...I don't know. All of the other 5 have flaws I dislike now.

"RE: The Apprentice 3 Episode #12 East Coast Spoiler Thread"
Posted by mysticwolf on 04-14-05 at 09:31 PM
Have to say I have a lot more respect for Kendra's self-control. I'd want to deck them both.

"RE: The Apprentice 3 Episode #12 East Coast Spoiler Thread"
Posted by Fishercat on 04-14-05 at 09:40 PM
Well, I would have probably decked them both, so you have more control then I do. How pathetic is that from the other five contestants. Tana/Craig for quitting, and Networth for being beaten by ONE person. Three v. Two is one thing, but she did that alone at the end, essentially the typing for the pamphlet (which was very important), and she kicked their #####.

"RE: The Apprentice 3 Episode #12 East Coast Spoiler Thread"
Posted by mysticwolf on 04-14-05 at 09:33 PM
My God. He did say it... And the execs had a hard time not laughing in his face.

"RE: The Apprentice 3 Episode #12 East Coast Spoiler Thread"
Posted by Fishercat on 04-14-05 at 09:34 PM
Oh man, Chris is SO dead. He actually did say interiorly and exteriorly, and he's a poor public speaker to boot.

Amazingly, Tana took on Jennifer's personality, stealing the credit of a pamphlet for an item.

Yeah, Chris is pretty much gone at this point, and Kendra is my odds-on-favorite to win.

OMG! She did pull a Jenn M.

"RE: The Apprentice 3 Episode #12 East Coast Spoiler Thread"
Posted by lindan on 04-14-05 at 10:46 PM
Her behaviour is much worse than Jenn M. Jenn M waited till the moment where it is approrpiate (ie when it's clear that Kevin is sweating badly and Ivana isn't doing a good job presenting) before she start speaking. But with Tana, she spoke before her project leader has even started to say anything and unrightfully take over the whole project, eventhough Kendra did all the work.

Also, keep in mind that Jenn M has spent a lot of time studying the brochures, so she knows what she's talking about. However, Tana didn't do anything (except going to sleep), and she didn't do a good job listening to Kendra (who apparently knows what she's doing). Tana had no right to talk.

Go Kendra go.

All I remember Tana saying was incredible opportunity and the opportunity for something incredible. She kept using those 2 words. I was waiting for Kendra to smack her.

They did to Kendra what was done to Craig with the Boxes at Home Depot... They do not support each other very well, lucky for them, the person in charge always seem to have a good idea that pays off, too bad nobody believes in someone else's ideas...

Bren wrote too much text for the brochure! A car brochure like this needs to convey the message with pictures and as little text as possible (like Kendra did).

Bren wrote a friggen dissertation!

At least you didn't throw up. I guess it's because the Knicks' current salary total looks like Donald's net worth.

Oh, and I guess Kendra's a two-seater model, because Tana and Craig just rode her to the next task. :p

I think it was a really fun reward though. They got the chance to horse around a bit & let off some steam.

Oh, I'd love the reward. Excitement to meet Hardaway? Eeee....

Just the Donald praising Thomas, who IIRC, has sunk the Knicks and didn't he ruin a whole basketball league?

"RE: The Apprentice 3 Episode #12 East Coast Spoiler Thread"
Posted by Incognito9 on 04-14-05 at 09:41 PM
At the reward, they gave us a personal Kendra moment. They did the same for Tana last week.

Sounds like the Final 2 might end up being Kendra vs. Tana.

Now for the hard choice... Does DT want:

1) The exec with an office spitoon and an assault charge waiting to happen...

2) The exec(s) who are sexual harrassment charges waiting to happen?

In those Chris confessionals, why the he11 is Chris wearing like 50 green accessories - scarf, hat, gloves? Looks like a leprechaun.

That boardroom was weird! DT asked Carolyn & George who they'd fire right in front of the guys!

I didn't even see him send them out for a minute!

"RE: The Apprentice 3 Episode #12 East Coast Spoiler Thread"
Posted by Fishercat on 04-14-05 at 10:04 PM
I have to think that Trump knew who he was going to fire. Chris looked defeated to me, and I think Carolyn/George saw that and had some pity on him (they didn't chew him out like I expected), and Trump knew he was gone. No need to waste time.

I've been in some tough meetings, but I've never broken down and cried in front of anyone.

Now we know for sure why he was so upset about that $20 cover charge...

"RE: The Apprentice 3 Episode #12 East Coast Spoiler Thread"
Posted by Fishercat on 04-14-05 at 09:56 PM
Why am I feeling such a noticeable amount of pity for Chris? I can say one thing for Chris that I can only say for two people (absolutely) for this show, that he gave 100% on the tasks that I saw. He was passionate, he had a massive load of flaws and it seems like he still does (from his arrest), but I honestly think Tana said something at the beginning of the episode which was true. He is a virgin in a pool of sluts. I honestly think, that if you put his passion, intensity, and general personality (not the temper, but overall business desire) into about 15 years of experience, he's a force to be reckoned with.

I feel bad for the guy, and although he definitely deserved to go, I wouldn't have minded seeing him for another week or two over Alex (even though Alex is more competent, he annoys me).

You hit the nail on the head there. He's too young to be able to survive the cutthroat world of the corporate execs who work for DT.

That is a great way of putting it, Fishercat. You hit the nail on the head.

Chris is a passionate, passionate guy, and he tries so very hard. But his inexperience and anger issues causes him to fail. I rarely feel compassion for people who don't try. Chris tried to win, and that's what counts, I suppose.

I think the Donald was right. I think in some time, Chris could be a great business leader. It was nice to see the mentor in Trump this week.
