Welcome to a SPOILER thread for those folks who just can’t wait to see how American Idol turns out. If you don’t want to know, please avoid this thread. And we’ll attempt to keep all spoiler info right here. As I said, this thread may or may not reveal the future. Sort of like an eight-ball, but without Rob or Stacie J.


This first list is snagged from TelevisionWithOutPity. This is as partial list of those going to Hollywood.

The web addresses make this list more valuable than you might think.

The inclusion of a web address does not necessarily mean there is a web site. All but four of these addresses were recently registered in London, home of 19 Entertainment, by one entity, called The Group NBT plc.
The other four were all Hollywood participants last season and had web addresses registered at that time.
All of last season's top 24 had website addresses traced back to 19 Entertainment.
Read into that whatever you like.

Donnie Williams was the guy with the DUI problem, George Huff took his spot in the final 32.
Bao Viet Nguyen had a beautiful voice, and his whole family came to the audition.

I found this list posted over on Realiiity.com.
This list was supposedly posted on the official AI web site inadvertently, and then yanked a short time later. It was originally posted on realiiity.com on Dec. 26, at a time when it would have been impossible to guess the identities. The validity of the list, and some names in particular, has been questioned, but it is not yet proven to be false.

Sarah was the woman who sang "I Could Have Danced All Nght."
We saw the judges tell her no. But she's on the Hollywood list.

Not much of an explanation is provided, but according to her hometown newspaper, Sarah Sue Kelly has advanced to the next round. And they have a picture of her holding what appears to be a golden ticket.

And newspapers never make mistakes.

I work at the station who did the story on Sara Sue, and we interviewed her personally. She did not make it. She said it on camera. The newspaper was refering to that she made it on tv. Not to Hollywood.

It has been widely reported that Marlea Stroman leaves Hollywood after two days to return home to Vermont to take care of her sick child.

A friend of Briana Davis, the blue-haired soprano, revealed in a weblog that her friend Briana gets cut in Hollywood.

Sarah Sue is a no go. We did a story on her here in Terre Haute and she stated she didn't make it. She is going to auditons next year.

I agree! I thought Bo was the best of the 3.

My favorite contestant so far is Scott Savol (the guy who thought he had to prove something to his dad...he's a bigger, bald guy). He sang Stevie Wonder and gave me goosebumps. I love that guy! I also like the tracheotomy kid...Anthony Fedorav. He has a pretty amazing voice as well.

i like scott too. i also have a bit of a thing for constantine (it's the butt-chin, eddie vedder thing -- it gets me every time). anwar sounds good. and the kid whose church ryan seacrest visited.

That list of 45 is NOT 100% accurate.

If I recall correcty, Tamesha Foote did not make the cut last night.

What that means for those not on that list is anybody's guess. I can't imagine Antoni and Scott not making it past the next round. I thought they were 2 of the best, but who knows, maybe they choke.

The only thing I remember is that opera girl with the intriguing makeup stylings and the woman who pawned her wedding ring both got 86d.

Almost every guy I remembered from the initial auditions got through except Twin B.

And this one tall, limp woman with an okay voice got through, then quit.

well, some of the names on there were certainly correct, as we were introduced to them this past week:
Carrie Z, Kurtis, Natalie, ??

So, it seems like an honest attempt at gathering names. As for Sarah Sue, it was probably an orange ticket (that precedes the golden ones), that I saw in pics of non-winners.

It'll be interesting to see if the websites portend anything.
BTW, i tried a few and they are not active yet - just placeholders.

Well I saw another Spoiler list on another site which listed the final 24 and I have to say I was very disappointed in the last 12 females chosen. No Nadia Turner, no Jessica Todd, no Lindsay Cardinale but somehow the rather average Jaclyn Crum and Janay make it to the final 12. Everyone lady on the list I saw fit into the Britney/Jessica/Beyonce sex kitten mold - no variety whatsoever. I'm most sorry that I don't get a chance to vote for Jessica Todd. From the mens list that I saw it strikes me that the producers want a male Idol this year - lots of different styles (Constantine, Anthony, Anwar, even the chubby "Left my heart in SF guy) and more talent than the womens list.

Neither was on the list - I'm still hoping it's wrong somehow but the way they panicked and deleted the list tells me it was accurate. Sadly, one of the people I hate the most, Mikala Gordon, makes it. And Amanda Avila - who is basically a professional already and has been for years makes it through. I'm hoping for a George Huff situation like last season where one of the final 32 (in this case 24) is dropped and they bring back Jennifer.

That matches what I saw on the official website that was deleted. Some surprises for me:

Jamie Koehler - The "Left My Heart in SF" guy. Completely froze on group night. Thought he was a pretty weak singer.

Mikalah Gordon, Jaclyn Crum, Janay Castine - Three 16 year olds? I thought they raised the age to bring in more mature singers. I WANT JENNIFER TODD - lose one of these kids.

For what it's worth, this list is now being discredited over at sucks, primarily because it contains the name of Melissa Walton, who did not make the final 75.

At this point, it doesn't matter much. We'll know the names of the finalists in a few hours.

Room 2 and 4 are the ones that get selcted. The list includes the farm guy (dad dodesn't respect him) and gal(the one who shot pics of trees), Anthony Ferretta? (the guy with the treciotomy), the Rock guy who left his band.

Wow Angel.... your posts really help me to remember a lot of peeps....... and I thought 'Mathew Kester' (guy who sang 'I need your love') singing Simons favorite song was great. He did a good job IMHO
My favorites...... top 6 at least
Mario Vazquez ..best by far!
Anwar Robinson ..great voice (hes the one that looks reggae)
Antoni Federov ..my 3rd choice (but can he sing power notes?)
Janay Castine ..shes really pretty, and can sing beutifully
Faith Gatewood ..tall black girl, black bandana, powerful notes
Mathew Kester .. sang Simons fav song, lot of passion in him

lot more with great talent.... but I liked the little girl with the 'toy voice'...Asia Jackson.... she had an attitude, she was different, she was only 16? ....... I woulda liked to have seen her in the top 12.... I really liked her...... oh well

IMO, group 3 had one poor performance after another. I had no doubt in my mind that they were going home. I was sad to see one of my favorites (the girl with the cold) not make it through. I think the cold did her in.

YES. but now he's known as "Nikko smith", and in the top 24.
yeah, they hid him in Hollywood - I did see a few seconds of him now and then - but not singing.
