I saw on ET tonight that tomorrow's Push, Nevada will be the last one. It is the first casuality of the TV season

Wonder if ABC is just pullin' a Mole and Push will show up again later in the season.

Although I think this show partially blows, I kinda maybe wanted it to continue.

If they were planning to bring Push back at all, they wouldn't be talking about the clues in the remaining two episodes.

This show is dead, just like Ben Affleck's brain.

I kinda liked the show... but only as a cool mystery coverup type deal- I've never cared much about looking for clues.

"Not according to TV Guide Online"

According to TV Guide Online, there are three episodes left.

PUSH SHOVED: In other ABC scheduling news, the network has reportedly axed Push, Nevada. Its seventh and final episode will air on Oct. 24. And yes, producers plan to ensure that enough clues will have aired to award one lucky viewer the $1 million jackpot. (For more on Push, click here.) ABC also is expected to cancel its Friday night dramedy That Was Then. Whose Line Is It Anyway? and The Drew Carey Show — currently airing on Mondays — will take over Then's 9-10 pm timeslot beginning in November.

If you click on the "click here" hyperlink, it just takes you to a cutesy feature comparing Push to Twin Peaks.

Noooooo! My summary has been cancelled!

Hmm, what does it mean that I'm more upset about my summary than the show itself?

Strider, I think you should write your summary as planned. You could mold and shape the story to fit your wishes! How kewl is that?? And you know us peeps would love to read it!

Regards,
Good bye PUSH, we never really knew ya!

That's a great idea! Just carry along the storyline as it was from the final episode aired and make up as you go along -- I guarantee that it'll probably be funnier and better than what could possibly happen on TV. Go for it, Strider! (and everyone else who hasn't got a chance to write an episode now that it's being cancelled)

Rest In Pieces, Push Nevada.

yeah, I'll have to confirm that as well, I just talked to my brother last night who knows a good deal with the TV studios. He also said it's hte first to be canceled. So I can't really be sure if the next push episodes will ever come even though they're written on TV guide.

but I really want to see the show though. Not for the money...but the story is getting me hooked. Mayif they can put it on tape...

LAST EDITED ON 10-11-02 AT 02:28 AM (EST)

So, episode 7 is the last show being aired? I just wanted to be doubly sure, because I'm assigned to write the summary for episode 6. This week was episode 5, correct?

"Right"

There will be two more episodes aired (through Oct. 24), according to the news reports today. And the one that aired Oct. 10 was E5.

So ... you'll still get to write your summary!

Ayak-Thanks for confirming, and thanks again for giving me the chance to write a summary...I can't wait to do one.

By law, they have to award the money, so look for a barrage of clues so they can do it,plus it will be fun to see how they wrap it all up, and add and cut scenes to get an answer.

Come in a stranger,leave a little stranger

I would think that they would have to award the money too, but according to Heather in the Mole Forum here at SBlows:

She said that if the show hadn't returned last summer, that they would not have received any money. The show was cancelled after only three shows in the fall...and she said at that point none of them planned on getting any money.

What started out as a seemingly great show, eventually left me hangin'. I never watched another episode after the first one. Whew.....now I don't have to worry about catching up before I write my summary.

Hmm, this seems similar to the Mole. At least ABC aired all of the Mole though. I am glad that I didn't get too far into the show.

when I applied for survivor there was a blurb int the "small print" that said CBS was not obligated to air the show and in that case money would not be awarded.
Basically there was no certainty that the show must finish itself out and therefore no certainty that you will get the money.

It was there in small print.

Ivory, can you find the contract that we signed for watching the show, to see if we can still win the money?

Reality shows that don't complete airing don't have to award prizes to the contestants...

PUSH is different, it is a CONTEST that the general public was invited to participate in. (View Here to Enter - No Purchase Necessary)

Once started, the prize MUST be awarded.

"ABC = Grim Reaper of TV"

ABC is really starting to piss me off!

I made a committment to watch this junk and have faithfully watched this show every week! The least ABC (et al) could do is return the committment and let it play out. I want to get some sense of satisfaction for wasting my time for the past five weeks!
