I kinda dug Fantasia tonight but I was a fan of hers before.

Yes, there was a lot of screaming but it was powerhouse screaming, and it was energetic and I think that it sorely missing right about now.

She looks like she's doing well and I'm happy for her.

Got here just in time to see Fantasia. My gawd, child. That exhausted me! And Simon...the look on his face, he was almost off his seat. As though he couldn't decide whether to scream or kiss her feet.

More exhausting than the 1/2 price sale at the Talbot's Outlet. Which is why I'm late.

How refreshing and entertaining was that? It is definately not in my listening scope but that was great.

I really, really enjoyed that. Anything that they show that does not pander to mainstream America is OK in my book!

I just watched this on YouTube. Wow. In season three, i was rooting for Fantasia from the first day because she was THE ONLY UNIQUE VOICE that season. She is incredibly talented. I love her voice, and she is a born performer.

Granted, i haven't purchased a single CD of her because i'm not a fan of the style of her CDs, but i can still appreciate that amazing voice of hers.

Fantasia has a bery unique voice, but it is not made for that dreck. That was HORRIBLE! I wonder if she is so out of shape that she couldn't sing the words, so she just yelled.

My equally 17-year-old son was losing it during all that, about how he probably didn't even know all those cheerleaders before, and they certainly didn't know who he was, and certainly wouldn't be hugging all over him before AI.

You're not far off... it's a play on my last name and my hubby is a geeky designer-type and I like pigs so it just kinda went together. We do that on lots of things:

Just an added note to my comment about lipsynching - Syesha was smiling before her song ended - it looked odd
