Okay don't get me wrong i LOVE "LOST" and also i watch every episode but i think it's klind of confuson how one minute there on dah island and the next they are in dah real world that is so wierd and i wonder wat dah hell is in dat hacth?????

I think that Lost has been really sucessful with both its score and sound editing to indicate the setting. For instance, you always hear that sound (kinda like an air pressure\flight noise) when they switch into flashback mode. Also, you quite often hear the surf when they return to island mode. Works for me.
