Jump back Jack!!! I'll bet that's what Dr Stan was referring to in his interview back in December! WoW!!! That's great to hear! So many people have had and survived really sukky childhoods!!! Thanks for the scoop!

Miranda, You are right,many people had terrible childhoods. My best friends mother abused her sister and to this day that women does what ever she can to get her mom's love and attention. She even let her mom watch her daughter when she was an enfant. To me that is insane, but I grew up without that abuse and parents that loved and respected me.

Why Kim's mother? It sounds like to me that there will be no more 'new' women on the show because the show will be over. The show is just using a filler houseguest, hell they might start to bring on everyones mom or dad on the show.

Wow! Intresting! I don't think this is what Dr.Stan was reffering to because this has been done with Haylie and Lynell.
But still this will probably help kim get her answers which is great but it will probaly also add a wholelatta drama

I'm guessing that the 7th and 8th aren't reruns of the couples from the beginning of the season, but the promised "update" from when they got together later in the fall.

I wonder if that is the reason Kim was acting like she didn't care if Jill was leaving because her mom is coming. I figure if this is true then she must have known about it ahead of time.(I doubt they would just surprise her with such a thing).So basically she was like "See ya Jill good ridence its been good but its time for you to go. You've been here long enough. Time to move on because my mom's coming so now we can maybe get the answers that I have been waiting for."

I'm surprised too that Kim's Mom is the new HG.
When I think of Jill leaving, and Kim I think of Kim taking out the trash.

Kim says, "bye bye Jill, got all your stuff in this bag." "ADIOS"

I don't think Kim had a prior clue whatsoever..if they do plug her mom is as a HG at this time IMO it's just to bridge their gap because they could not possibly help anyone else with this amount of the season remaining. Last season they seemingly pushed them all out at the end and I would be grateful to see them NOT add a new HG to their program at this time.

I don't think that Kim knew prior coming to the house. But if this is really true you would think that they would of asked her opinion before having her mom enter the house. Besides where did they get Kim'm mom number?

Kim signed that contract and has released all liability as far as the details of her case. I'm just thankful they will be getting her focus off the HM beyotches and onto more important sh!t.

This follows the pattern on this show, especially with Rhonda. Rhonda comes on in the beginning acting all sweet and caring. Kim has had lots of NICE AND EASY assignments with Rhonda talking gently to her and excusing all her b*tchiness because of her horrible upbringing....

Then they give the whammy.... Kim's mom is the Whammy. I don't think she knows AT ALL that she is coming and the editing focused on Kim's obvious pleasure that Jill is leaving is the irony that these producers love so much!

I will find it HILARIOUS when Kim's mom shows up and Kim has to face the fact that her mom has given her the ANSWER plenty of times, but Kim never wanted to listen.

I still don't understand why we are not discussing DADDY DEAREST who actually did the abuse -- and why Kim has let him be off the hook whereas mom who just couldn't face the responsibility of raising a child (I'm assuming she had no other children) walked away.

I agree Lab...it will be comical to see Kim's reaction. I'm sure she'll be wishing to have Jill back in a heart beat! As for why Rhonda is focusing on Kim's mom and not her dad...do you think Kim blames her mom for the abuse she got from her dad, and so before she even begins to deal with him she has to get over the fact that her mom left her in the first place? Just a thought...

I get the feeling the reason Kim isn't satisfied with the answer is that what she really wants is for the mother to admit some responsibility for what happened to Kim as a child. From what we've heard so far, I don't think the mom has ever done that. She seems to have the attitude, "Oh, how unfortunate, but there was NO WAY for me to know when I dumped you at your dad's that you'd be subjected to abuse, so it's not my fault." I find it so incredibly hard to believe that Kim's mom wasn't aware the dad lived in squalor. Also, he abused the mom, so why in the world does the mom claim that she "never dreamed" he'd be abusive to Kim?

Things might change when we hear the mother's story, but for right now, I'm thinking the woman's a real winner, dumping her kid off on an abuser so she could enjoy her life with some guy she married to get her dental bill paid.

LMDD - it looks to be that way. I can't say that I care one way or the other because I didn't really enjoy the couples' segment, but I don't understand the wierd half week run of re-runs if that's what's happening.

I see you updated them to include 3/14-3/16. So Kim's mom is only there about 5 days? I see SO is getting "creatively misleading" with the previews again, because they made it sound like Kim's mom was going to be an actual HG with steps & a goal, when it appears it was actually just a (longer than usual) visit.

I wouldn't doubt they eventually do bring Christie's mom to the SOH.

What's with the frequent Andy Paige mini-makeovers? Does SO think she's good for ratings, or did she tell Rhonda she really needs the $$$? Anyway, Rhonda is attractive but she could use an eyebrow makeover herself, along with Lisa. Both wear their eyebrows like upside down "U"s, which makes them look either like they're always surprised, or like they're raising their eyebrows when they're not. I think Rhonda may have had a forehead lift sometime last season, and her eyebrows are dangerously close to her hairline. I wouldn't trust Andy Paige's expertise, though. What if the brows don't grow back? Also, are the women going to have to save the individual hairs that are tweezed out, so they can burn them in the SO outside fireplace?

I will start getting creeped out soon if all of Kelly's assignments involve teenage boys.

No clue WHY but for Friday 3/17, TVGuide.com has a blurb for SO indicating that they are going to REPEAT Jill's graduation day.

WHY WHY WHY? Are they short of shows? And isn't it about time for Lisa 1 to return?

As much as I don't generall like reruns I am glad for this one.

On the day Jill graduated, hubby for some unknown reason switched the tv channels in the BR television that I tape SO on, so instead of her graduation which I really wanted to see I instead got an hour of NESN. Boy was I hot!!!! I almost needed to sign up for SO just to get over it. lol

Oh my heck! Haliey and Lynell didn't really go away. They just came back in different forms!!! Dt. Stan actually wasn't there for the Haliey and Lynell episodes so that may in fact be what he was referring to.

WOW, let's hope that Kim's Mom is a little slower and what I mean by that is that she is not going 150,miles,ph as well or my head will be spinning, thank you so much for the update I have missed 2, days cause of re-runs so now I know when to watch again and I will be watching. lol.

Labyrinth..i agree with you..what about kims dad? prob too heavy to bring up what he did to his face on that show, but i think he should be at least put on the phone or have an email from kim...and somehow forced to give her some answer or at least have him there and her tell him what he11 he put her thru.
also....during the soh is when i do my work out..and darn it if they don't stop showing the shows i've already seen i'm gonna go on that show just to get to work out and get new clothes..even if i'll have to bare my dirty laundry. no really, i'm agoraphobic..can't you just see them for three months trying to get me out of the car? but seriously i'm SICK of reruns.

WoW! Some interesting shows coming up. I think the SO house will be using a revolving door for awhile...Lisatwit still has to come back to graduate so there will have to be room for her unless her beautiful cage is available...I have found a web site with great previews check out www.titantvguide.titantv.com click on SO and then the little tv icon and the previews for the entire week pop-up.

I can't wait to see the next couple of weeks of episodes, sounds interesting. I am looking forward to seeing Cassie again and finding out what she has been up to since leaving the house. I actually can't wait to find out what Cassie's son writes to her in the certified letter.
I thought she had had contact with him sice she has left the starting over house, but it sounds like maybe they still haven't met yet. Maybe they will meet in this house.
That would be nice.
