Auditions 5 & 6 were both shown on the same evening, Feb 1- aka "Hitting 2 Buzzards with one stone" Audition 5 - Cleveland - aka "Ladies Love Cool James"
Winners: 31
Showcased: 5 winners, 4+losers
quick pics: 6 winners
Episode: 15,000 auditioned and 31 got thru. FINALLY! LL Cool J is the guest judge in Cleveland, and My! Is he fine in every way. I love him even more. Not only is he a wonderful rapper, singer, actor, father and positive role model, but he is a wonderful human being, giving hugs and encouragement to 2 of the gals who were rejected. He loved the line from loser Sarah Sue about not having to be a Barbie, and how looks aren't what matters. AND HE IS THE SEXIEST MAN ON EARTH - People Magazine take notice!
Here's a pic for your viewing pleasure.
Oh, yeah, there were some winners shown too.
1. Jaclyn Crum - 16 from OH. Good, but scared to perform.
(no pic yet)
2. Scott Savol - 28 OH, sang "Superstar" (not sure by who), and Paula was shocked to see such a voice come out of such a mediocre body and personality (not in those words). Simon - quite a good voice.
3. Patrick Norman - 17 OH, "Smile". Randy - you can blow it.
4. Briana Davis - 18 OH, the blue-haired punky girl, sang "Phantom of the Opera". Paula - unbelievable, LL-amazing voice, Simon - she's like Sarah Brightman. They figure if she can sing that, she can do anything.
*AI4 Blue-hair Diva*
5. Anthony Federov - 19 PA, sang "angel" by jon secada, Looks like one of the guys from "Rent" and also Clay Aiken, but blonder. Oh, and he was told as a baby that he may never speak, much less sing, so its his destiny. Paula - good voice, LL - slick, Simon - yes.
*AI4 Clay Aiken*
honorable mention goes to: Jennifer the mime, who pretended to sing Aerosmith. Simon - one of the best we've had today.
