Audition 6 - Orlando - aka "They're not Worthy"

Winners: 16
Showcased: 2 winners, ?? losers
"Meet the Fakers" quick pics: 9 winners - they fake out their friends at the victory hug area. Must've been a set up, as 9 out of 16 did it.
other quick pics: 6 winners
Episode: 9,000 auditioned and 16 got thru. Cause I know first hand that everyone in that town with any talent is already: a. In a boy band, b. working as a Disney performer, or c. Working on a cruise ship. Me? I was 9 months pregnant and singing with a show choir at the malls, and Don't mock me, cause I had the solo Rap in "Gonna Make you sweat". I beat out all the guys!

ok, so the winners are:
1. Vonzell Solomon, 20 from Ft. Myers, FL. sang "Chain of fools" by aretha. Judges loved it.
*AI4 Red-hair flourescent-clothes Fashionista*

2. Dezmond Meeks, 21 from La. Sang "I feel good" by James Brown, and danced the whole time. Personally, I thought LeRoy was better at that song. Paula loved it. Simon said no, and Randy too. But then Paula pouted until Randy said ok.

Simon quote:
"this is turning into American Idol: the Nightmare"

So they turned down the overweight woman who sang like Julie Andrews because of how she looked, and they put 42591 through?

Unfortunately there are different criteria for women than men to make the finals. See Ruben and Clay.

Not only that, but they put through Goth Girl who sang like Sarah Brightman.

So Julie Andrews = no and Sarah Brightman = yes
But only if you're not a heavy gal. So unfair.

At least they let the one heavy girl with the soulful voice
through. She was terrific.
