Episode: Only 9,000 showed up, and only 24 got thru. The guest judge was Kenny Loggins. If you are saying, "who the heck is that?" right now, just consider yourself lucky and move along. Ok, I'll give ya a clue: "Everybody cut Footloose"! kay? He was a Paula-type judge.

1. Mikalah Gordon - 16 (sorry, I missed this one. Any info, anyone?)
2. Amanda Avila - 23 from LasVegas, Showgirl, pretty, wore a necklace that said "pick" and a hot pink tank that said "ME", sang "10,000 lifetimes"?, they thought she was beautiful and great.
3. Richard Molfetta - 27 from NY, sang "I who have nothing". Apparently Kenny Loggins must've been hot for him and his old-boy-band-style (last week Gene said no!), Simon still says no, and Randy said to lose the act, but passed him thru.

4. Emily Neves - 22 from TX - A Cyndi Lauper clone, sang "Girls Just wanna have fun" (but I bet she didn't score as perfect as me on my first try of that song on my PS2 karaoke game!). I rule that song, but anyway. Randy said funny and fun.

5. Sharon Gal - 28 from NV, mom, sang "saving all my love 4 u (whitney)". Randy- you owned it.
6. Jennifer Todd - 27 from CA, sang "if i ain't you" (alicia keys). Paula - I got goosebumps. Very plain looking, but willing to be made-over.

On Mikala Gordon (mostly my opinion anyway) - Randy called her pitch perfect and I would agree that she had one of the best voices in all the auditions - one problem - she talks. Made an ugly, racist comment to Randy about how herself being white was only a "birthmark" and then after she got through told the camera that if she wins she'll buy her mother the implants she always wanted. Very foul mouthed and unlikable.

Yep, that was a turn off to me, too.
