Now that Briscoe's getting his own show (since, after all, CBS can't have more versions of CSI than NBC does of L&O), there's been an announcement about the new detective on the flagship show. Dennis Farina has been cast.I, for one, am quite pleased. While I'm a huge Jerry Orbach fan, I think Farina will fit into the canvas quite nicely.

Goody! I hadn't heard the Dennis Farina scoop. He's awesome and will fit in nicely with the L&O formula.I love Lenny Briscoe too and was glad he's sticking with the franchise...but what is going on with his face? It's tighter than a drum.

Jesse L. Martin is filming the movie of the Broadway play he was in for years "Rent". So they gave him some time off. Meanwhile we are stuck with Michael Imperioli as his fill-in. Considering I can't stand Christopher on "The Sopranos" I am not happy about this.
