"Does Anyone Have the # for the LA Dept of Health?"

Was anyone else as grossed out as I was when Jason was shown smoking and rubbing his bare feet with his bare hands at the beginning of service? I did not see him wash his hands just running back to the kitchen when he heard Gordon screaming for him.

Yuck.

Well, the good thing is that I don't think he ever got anything made that actually made it to a customer.

I'll bet those diners thanked whatever Gods they pray to last night that they were not served any of Jason's Toe Cheese Caesar Salad.

But it does make HK one of the few restaurants who can say they have a house cheese and mean it.

Oh boy, yes. Saw him rubbing his feet, then when he went back in the kitchen, all I could think about was, I`ll bet he didn`t wash his hands. On my mind the rest of the show.

Not only did that gross me out, but do we honestly need to see Chef Ramsey vomiting in the garbage can?

Didn't I see enough of that during his US Kitchen Nightmares show?

...do we honestly
>need to see Chef Ramsey
>vomiting in the garbage can?

The funny thing is that he had that crap in his mouth for a long time. I was waiting for him to say that he liked it. Then...BLAH!!!!!!!

Which might lead us to think that it's all put on, don't you think? They have to keep the drama level up, and what is more dramatic than Gordon vomiting? I really thought it was fishy that he almost swallowed the food before he started hurling.

I guess he was trying to give it a "dramatic pause."

My guess is if Jason is stupid enough to take a break right at the start of dinner service, go smoke & rub his aching feet, he's probably not smart enough to WASH HIS HANDS. Gross.

As long as he didn't touch any potatoes, I'm fine with it for you humans.

that was gross.

I know this is taped, but I can see the look on Ramsay's face if he watched this and realized he should have off'd him on the spot.

So glad I "missed" that episode. Hand-washing rules are posted in every restaurant rest-room. Food-service employees are supposed to wash their hands are after smoking, among other things. Personally, I wouldn't want my food prepared by a smoker. And, if it's true, as has been suggested on another thread, that most food-service employees smoke, I'll be eating a lot more of my own cooking from now on.
