Ooo! Pick me! I do! Hidden text to follow:

Adam is affected by the virus. He doesn't catch it himself, though. It turns out his sister was exposed to our good ol' hotel escapee, and she starts to show symptoms. This distracts Adam at a key time while he's working, which has Chloe suggest that he needs to be replaced.

So it looks like there are two candidates for the CTU Mole. Adam or Chloe? It seems like it's Chloe and she's sabotoging Adam on purpose--but maybe not.

That's what I think too Managerr. I think that Chloe is making up the whole Adam's sister bull and she sabotaged his surveillance stuff to unnerve him so that he won't catch her doing whatever mole-y stuff she's doing. Whew...I need to catch a breath after that sentence.

I stayed away from this thread before the show because I have no self-restraint and love hidden text!

Maybe there is no mole this season. After his actions to save Michelle from torture during the last episode, Tony's certainly going to look like one. Instead of getting a new baddie, we've got someone making questionable (but understandable) decisions that are not in CTU's best interest. That's more interesting to me than a mole. I like this twist. After all, don't we all understand that Tony wouldn't want to see them take out Michelle's eye...especially after they just got through her infection scare?

While I'm very tempted to go the CTU/mole route I think I'll agree with the Beebster here. Last night we saw how easy it is to manipulate "us" - the viewing public. Had I not seen the Bebo hidden text and knew that Michele was the one at risk I'd have been sure the moto guy was after Kim and Jane - heck, even knowing the spoiler I still was kinda believing it.

And, I agree that the Tonster acting all emotional and compromising CTU and the shut down of the Saunders operation is a more interesting way to go. And, of course, we can be happy that he acted in the way he did. Otherwise they'd have had to change the show this year to "20" rather than "24".

However, that being said, how does Tony maintain his standing at CTU for another season? Is he forgiven his emotional response? Seems to me, in that position you have to put aside all emotion and respond as an agent. Of course, Tony has an unfair backup plan - Jack is alive and still out there and we all know he can bring home the bacon no matter what.

I'm just itching to check out spoiler heaven this week. I'm evaluating whether watching the show with or without the "script" for the show ahead of time is better or worse. Of course, RR did have one little detail wrong - he said they were going to cut off a finger rather than take out an eye.

There's an outlandish theory as to who and what is behind Saunders. I wanted to post hidden text, but can't find out how in the reference here.

OK - hidden text to follow, though I'm not sure why. This comes from the RR site, but I just noticed this is listed under hypotheses with no basis in reality - it's kinda fun though:
Palmer asks what his new task is and Saunders says "In the year 1775 are two countries fought a war. The prize 225 years ago was freedom and land. Mr. Palmer I need you to contact your Attorney General and ask him to draw up the proper papers for a land deal" Palmer asks Saunders for what land. Saunders says " Well of course the 13 colonies. I want the deeds to Georgia, Virginia, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Maryland, Rhone Island, Connecticut, Delaware, New Hampshire, South Carolina, North Carolina, Pennsylvania and of course New York".

If Tony isn't allowed back at CTU next season for doing exactly what Jack has done in previous seasons, I will be pretty darn p.o.'ed.

Pretty good episode overall. I completely forgot that Michelle was going to test negative, so that was a pleasant surprise.

I'm really not sure about a mole. It makes me wonder about Saunder's operations though. How did they know that Chapelle was looking into certain money accounts? Maybe their computer has an "anti-tracking monitor" (you never know on this show), but based on all the inside info Saunders seems to pull out, there' might be a mole.

My guess? It's Adam. I'm still not convinced it's Chloe. A mole wouldn't try to be nearly so abrasive and pushy. We'll see what happens.
