Does anyone know where I can go to see the video of the guy who rapped last night? His performance was hilarious and I am dying to see it again!

Leroy Wells stole the show on the Tuesday night episode of American Idol 4. His performance of "Got Your Money" had everyone glued to the screen, and his witty dialogue could turn "Can You Dig It?" into a national catchphrase. But can you dig this, NBC station WPMI in Mobile, Alabama reports that Leroy Wells was forced to watch the show from a Mobile, Alabama jail cell.

WPMI reports that Leroy Wells was locked up for failing to appear in court for an earlier charge where he reportedly fired a hand gun into an occupied vehicle.

I heard it on Stern this morning. He shot the peron in the vehicle. I guess he has a rap sheet as long as War and Peace.

Good - I disliked him from the minute I saw him. No talent to speak of just acting the fool. At least they can't bring him on again (one guy was booted for a DUI last season so I'm sure they'll have nothing to do with a low life who shot someone) since he's not allowed to leave teh jurisdiction.

It should have been clear to anyone that he was high on drugs when he did that audition anyhow. Glad to hear he's in jail, hope he stays there.

I thought that guy was an idiot. I found him repulsive, and not amusing in the least.

But of course, in true AI form, we will see him again, and again, and again.

William Hung had an innocence about him, that appealed to the heart. This guy seemed like a thug.

My favorite part was when he and his posse danced down the hallway. It looked like that scene from Monty Python and the Holy Grail where they all pretend to ride horses.
