"Where are the challenges?"

I keep searching for vidcaps that hint at at least one of the challenges but still haven't found any clues. If I really stretch, I might imagine that the night shots including the fire and what appears to be movement of palm or some other burning substance could represent a nighttime challenge, but that is a real stretch.

On the other hand the reasons we have no hint of the challenge(s) might include:
-- there aren't any;
-- they are totally boring to watch (as is usually the case with a q&a based challenge like "fallen comrades". I don't expect that. It is just an example.);
-- any pictures of the challenge are a dead giveaway;
-- there is a merge and the challenges are individual rather than team based; and
-- EPM is messing with our heads.

Any suggestions, hints, or actual vidcap evidence would be greatly appreciated. Inquiring minds want to know .... ahead of time.

Because of the buff's any or all of these could be from some intelligence challenges (like the triva one for food just after the Silas removal last season).

Here is Neleh and Kathy(?) In what I think it a likely challenge shot.

Paschal with buff around neck thinking, the background looks more like in the Rotu camp than challenge.

Sean pondering, once again the background reminds me of camp more than challenge

Kathy squinting, well she always has her buff on so not sure this one matters.

Neleh and John(?) arriving? Once again this looks like some type of an arrival shot. Probably challenge possibly twist swapage.

Then we Rob with no visable buff staring at who? Paschal? Jeffy? The background though has challenge area written all over it.

Assuming that there are both RC and IC this time (which may or may not happen given swapage or camp moves), I'm betting at least one will be some type of intelligence challenge, and what we see here is all we are getting.

S2 had a trivial pursuit challenge for immunity, if I recall correctly, in episode 4, which Kucha won in a squeaker. The vidcaps do suggest another such challenge, though whether for immunity or reward is anyone's guess. The bit with Sean does seem to be not part of the challenge, however, as this is where he says, "This is where the game gets interesting."

In the promo video the scene where Rob is standing next to Paschal is interesting ...

... as in the full video Rob can be seen lowering his head in dejection, presumably because he lost the round, or at least has to go back and try again same as Paschal.

In any event, my inclination is to say here that the tribe with the fewer members would probably have an advantage in the game, if none sit out on this one, ie. eight correct answers are needed to win. With Maraamu, since the first three to answer correctly would have to go again, while in Rotu the first three to answer correctly would then be sidelined, Maraamu would clearly have an advantage. Unfortunately, this may be offset by the possibility that either team might have a dunce who can't come up with a correct answer no matter what. It would be seriously funny if it turned out both tribes had one of those.

Not sure what it means, but the person Neleh is facing in this pic makes the same movements (exactly) as Neleh.

Maybe they're doing the Hokey Pokey.
