Okay, so there is 2 more weeks of this crap left. How do ya'll see it working out?

there is one more girl than guy, so if they have roomate selections next week do you think it will go as follows -

keith/tara/charla/dave
amy/beau
tom/desiree
scott/holly/melanie

whichever of those two scott doesn't choose is out (prob. Holly)

Then we are left with five couples - so how will they eliminate from there? Have the couples start voting other couples off (there are only 2 more weeks)

In which case keith tara and charla and dave will go first, then tom/desiree leaving 2 couples - will the voted offs choose the ultimate couple?

I think Scott will win with melanie.
(Sorry- that was a bad subject heading - scott could very well win it with Holly, my view is just slanted b/c I am mad that Charla/keith/tara/dave don't have much of a chance!)

THey must have couples voting each other off. That would totally suck, though, because then the Barbies don't have a chance to win!

Oh, how I wish Kavita OR Matt had been voted on! Well, we know who the real winners are.

I think you are right - couples will vote each other off. Things do not look good for Charla/Dave/Keith/Tara. I'm hoping that there may be some competitions (a la Survivor) to determine immunity from elimination. That will be the only way that the Barbies can survive.

Why didn't Keith go to Scott and propose that he and Dave would vote on Melanie if he would convince Holly to bring on Matt? I thought for sure that we would see Dave and/or Keith doing some wheeling and dealing.

LAmy will be worse than ever now that she has the majority.

The thing is PH has shown they can change and do the twist just however they want. With only 2 weeks, there isn't enough time to vote people unless in every episode next week each couples get voted off. I think what could happen is the have competitions where each couple compete for challenges and whoever wins gets immunity and maybe even the power to vote another couple off. I think the fab 4 are pretty strong so I think they stand a fighting chance

I hope the Barbies are the last ones standing. I hope that a Survivor-esque competition or a twist saves them. Or that this is rigged ala Joe Millionaire so that the good guys win.

At this point I wouldn't even care if it was rigged to make sure the good guys win. I just can't stomach the thought of LAmy or Desiree being any part of the final couple! These two really piss me off ...and Holly's not a whole lot better -grab a clue chick!

If LAmy wins then Zacka$$ wins too - because they are "in love" (I feel just as nausiated as Alex after he made out with Toni).

Have to agree with you guys. Yes, Holly does seem to be missing a significant part of her brain. I laughed out loud last night when she said she wasn't a jealous type- PLEASE! The night all the leftovers came back & Scott was flirting up a storm with Melanie- Holly's eyes were about to pop out of her head. You know she had a creak in her neck from turning around repeatedly staring at the two of them. She seems to be too nieve for her own good. What, a few kind words of "We're just friends" from Mel and she's ready to vote her on just to see? DumbA$$!

Right after the vote on, there was actually roommate selections done after the show. Doesn't look like it will effect the game, but just who is rooming with who. (Available on Yahoo Platinum)

Melanie, being the newcomer, got to pick whoever she wanted and chose Keith. That forced Tara to go to Tom, who picked her, over Desiree (for strategic purposes), but as of now Desiree is the outsider.

So Melanie could have made a play for Scott, but didn't....

I thought for sure there would be roommate selection last night. Tom picked Tara over Dizzy? Is Dizzy kicked off now, since it's down to couples for the finals?

Yeah, me too. I think Melanie is either trying to lay low until she can lundge at Scott and give airhead Holly boot or she is trying to weasel her way into the Barbie's clique and learn what their plans are so she can report back to loserdome!
As for Tom, I think he realized that choosing Ditzyree(loving that name) would have been a one way ticket straight off the show! Ditzyree is going places all right...back home at the next vote off...LOSER!

well from what i've seen, sometimes they pick first, sometimes they pick last. but a couple of times, whomever they choose is ineligible for the others (so she'll choose Keith or Dave). Sometimes the majority rules and sometimes having equal men/women in an alliance is protection enough. It seems that everyone is betting on the majority or Desiree's choice to kick out Charla/tara, but that has not happened very often, so that's no sure bet for them. However, the King/Queen twist was a major change in power so bet on more of those, I think.

Plus, at the end of the show, they said that there will be a TWIST we have never seen (so no one can count on the majority's power, IMHO) and that more than one will be leaving from now on, which will also mean that it'll always be odd.

so I won't bet on anything. I'd like to speculate, but lemme see if its in another thread yet.

Holly went with the Psycopaths; they voted Melanie, so she voted Melanie. It's like hooking up with Scott and sticking like glue. She's just going along with the crowd. No.Brain.Involved.

Hi, I'm a newbie. I agree with the above scenario and that's why I think it's good for the Barbies that Melanie was voted on.

IMO, if Kavita were voted on, she would have been the oddball in the next roommate selection anyway and would check out of Paradise forever. (maybe forever would last more than 2 months this time around!)
At least Melanie will give Holly competition and hopefully knock some sense into her. And it will weaken the "originals".

I don't like AMY, Desiree,or Holly but if Holly were smart she would go for Tom it would give her a better chance to stay on the show then to try and go with Scott. I would rather see Desiree gone then see Holly gone. Holly looks like she could be persuded easily all she wants is her Scott.I think if Tara and Charla talk to her and convince her she will be on there side & they could have a better chance of staying on. Desiree is the biggest follower of them all. She goes with whoever she acts is the meanest and most intimidting. She thinks shes going to get far with them But they will drop her when they have the chance.

Desiree was annoying on tonight's episode and Dave does have a connection with Holly since he consoled her when she was "not??" jealous. It will be interesting to see what twist they throw in now.
