"Have the CBS Site Finally Made A Mistake?"

"Sandra is the first Survivor to have no votes against her, ever"

Whooo HOo! And I thought that the official site of all official news was the all correct, all knowing source of all Survivor Reference for those not interested in a little laugh or two.

Tried to find a webmaster email on the website to no results unfortunately, but at the back of my little noggin' a little blue bird tells me that a certain Ms.Sunshine-bright-enough-to-kill-a-mad-dog Tina, and a certain Mr.Boring-flat-soccer-player-Ethan, and a all time scheming Mr. Porn-star-used-car-sales-man Brian did not have any votes against them either!

So what do ya' all think? That this is just one of those common mistakes on their part or just an over enthusiastic slip of a tongue by a webmaster too high on whisky?

For the record.

S1 - Richard had a total of 4 votes against him prior to FTC
S2 - Tina had NO votes against her prior to FTC
S3 - Ethan had NO votes against him prior to FTC
S4 - Vee had 2 votes against her prior to FTC
S5 - Brian had NO votes against him prior to FTC
S6 - Jenna had 3 votes against her prior to FTC

In other words, Sandra was NOT the first person to win Survivor with no votes against her.

And in fact from a purely technical standpoint, Sandra did have a vote against her from the previous tribal council...from Jon. These votes are always mentioned in the Final 3 but never officially cast.

And from that point of view, Tina (from Keith) and Ethan (from Lex) also received votes in that final tribal council. Only Brian, who won the final immunity challenge, never received either an official or unofficial vote.

We can also throw Pappy in that group as well even if he didnt win

What about Micheal from S:2, can't remember whether he had a vote before being burned out of the games. But yeah, but it would be fun if the webmaster was Jiffy himself, he'd probably try to screw the brains (or whatever there is left) of those mindless enough to refer to the site for the primary source of information.

That which does not kill us, makes us stronger!

While he didnt get any during the game, I heard somewhere that they had tribal council the night he fell out and voted him out then.

Btw, the official site makes mistakes all the time... I'd be more surprised if they actually got something right

Did no one else notice that Jiffypop first called Sandra Lil when announcing her as the winner. That was a huge guffaw.

Hahahaha! Yeah, I noticed that too but then I thought I must have been hearing things, since Jeff wouldn't be that stupid... guess he really is.

I knew I was delusional in thinking I was the only one who had noticed that. I didn't know about the rest of them, but I remembered quite clearly that Tina hadn't had any votes against her.

This is really nitpicking, but I never claimed not to be anal-retentive.

However, you could argue that technically the only winner who never had a vote cast against him is Brian, since Brian is the only winner who won immunity at F3. Each of the non-immune parties at F3 is automatically receiving the vote of the other non-immune party, but since they cancel each other out, they just don't bother having them write their votes down.

Edited to clarify: Jenna also won the game after winning immunity at F3 but she had a vote (votes?) cast against her earlier.

There is a previous thread on this in fanatics:

There is one other not mentioned here -- Kelly Wigglesworth from S-1, who, although she did not win the final vote, did not get any negative votes ever. (When her head seemed on the chopping block toward the end, she went on an immunity streak).
