I noted the other day that I seem to have some fan mail and I'm likely to do what I mainly do with emails: ignore or delete. I am curious, however, as to how emails work. If I answer one, will it be with my own email address (so that I open the floodgates for more, uh, fan mail)? Also, can emails bear traces of anthrax?

So yesterday I received an email in my home mailbox from someone on the boards...a nice enough email, but nonetheless rather disturbing: how does this occur?

Look at the upper right hand corner of any post. You can e-mail any poster by clicking the icon. But it is routed through the website, so your e-mail address is still private.
