guess i'm the only one watching...i was LOLing at their call to her parents and her mom says "will i like him?" and randi says "wait, what?!...you'll.......adore him"

"Umm...Mother.."
Posted by frisky on 02-02-04 at 09:38 PM
"Will I like him?"

Is this an acceptable response to "Hey, mom, I've met a great guy!"

What a bee-yotch.

What an uptight family. No wonder Randi's such a princess.

*snort*

Mama Steve is asking Randi if she plans to deliver vaginally. She's asking how big her nipplage is.

The meal looked disgusting.

This episode shows where Randi was brought up. Littleton Colorado! Home of Columbine and Lockheed Martin! Man is Littleton a scary place!

That whole freaking hot tub scene had me on the floor! Her floating like death while everyone just goes on with the conversation...........and then Daddy takin off his shorts and the "prom date" comment. My husband got roped into watching the show last night for the first time. His comments? RE Randi: "Whatta concieted b!tch" RE Steve: "Your dad would have loved that guy"

LOL! I keep telling my friends they didn't need to hire an actor for this show. Just get a Camera Crew and bring my future inlaws down to visit me and my fiance!

My family thought this episode had one of the best Reality TV quotes EVER:

"One of these jets is treating me like a prom date!"

I thought the men in my house were going to choke from laughing so hard.

it's no "I pull your pants down RIGHT NOW!" but, yeah that was pretty good

The funniest part is where mom discuss breast feeding with Randi and then asking her if she has big nipples.

Also when 'mom' ask Randi is she will deliver baby vaginally and then proceed to measure if her hip is wide enough.

Too funny!

I thought that the stuff Steve's "mom" was saying was funny, but too over the top. Especially the nipple comment. I was worried that Randi might start thinking something was up, but then I remembered who Randi is.

Morning Frisky! So many hilarous parts in last nights show but the pooping his pants was a winner. To have a stink bomb in your pants was classic

I am watching and laughing.....This is the hardest I have laughed at any reality show.....Steve and his family are great. The producers picked the perfect patsies in Randi and her family....They appear to have no sense of humor which plays right in with the joke....

When Steve's dad took his pants off in the hot tub, I laughed so hard I thought I was going to die! That was hilarious! His family truely captures the essence of being a "low class" family!

I loved when Steve's mom took the knife away from the sister in the kitchen. Meanwhile Randi is remembering that Steve said his sister chased him with a butcher knife when they were kids. The look on Randi's face was priceless.

Randi just thinks she is too good for everyone and it is obvious she got this from her parents. Their whole reaction to the news was strange. The minute she said she was in love they started to act upset. At this point they haven't met him yet and she hasn't mentioned marriage. Why are they not happy for her? Do they have to approve her love life? Even her brother seemed upset. Strange family.

Randi is constantly saying that she is also doing this for her family so they can have the money. Didn't look to me like they needed the money. The house looked nice and big. And that was a Lexus SUV they drove to the airport. I think Randi wants the publicity and money, but she is trying to sound like she is doing it for her family. Sure, humiliate your family on TV. That is a great thing to show them you love them.

I was wondering the same thing about the money. Daddy looks like he's got $250,000 already.

This is one creepy family.

creepy...just creepy.

I also tought that was a little strange. Her family is already talking about doing this and that "if" they don't like the guy. My family wasn't like that when they met my finace. They were just like, "That's who he picked so we'll love her and welcome her with open arms." My mom would have never said that her claws would shoot out and she would bring me home. She respects me as an adult and to make my own decisions. But back to the point, I also wondered why they would even be having thoughts of not liking the guy. Then I thought to myself, "Whoever was running the camera must have been asking questions to lead things that way." Also, why was there a camera crew in her family's house? What was the reason Fox gave Randi's family for needing to set up a camera crew in their house?

I feel sorry for anyone who marries into the Coy family. Those parents have a death grip on their adult children!

I know this because I married into a similarly controlling family.

Yes, these parents are very controlling in their own weird, creepy way. They just don't want to let go of their "little princess".
I wonder if anyone could marry into that family; how this would affect dating life, especially after this show aired. Anyway this show is funny as hell IMO. Can't wait next weeks show.

Can you imagine their conversations:

Randi: You're amazing!
Theo: No, you're amazing!
Randi: No really, you're amazing!
Theo: Yeah, I guess you're right, I am amazing.

Just so many funny moments in the whole show. A couple of others were:
-Steve spilling the breakfast tray in Randi's bed
-Steve getting his back waxed while Randi watched and
laughed
-Steve playing sword fights with Randi's girlfriend
-Steve and his (tv)sister sticking their tongues out
at each other with globs of food in their mouths
while Randi watched in amazement

and on and on.............lol
