He's a future champ. A Duran styled brawler but class is his driving force not malice. A humble lion,,,,, 2000's upgraded version of Roberto Duran,,,,I wish him mad luck.

It was a close fight. Gomez had him at the start but Manfredo performed better towards the end. The last minute or two of the final round was amazing. They were both taking shot after shot. Simply amazing.

It looked to me that Alphonso's jaw started swelling in the 5th or 6th round. Was it broke? If so and he continued fighting he is "the man" Sorry to see him go, his humor, determination, integrity and humble attitude made him a star. I am sure we will see great things from this young man in the years to come.
