"Who would be nice to see in Season two?"

I would have killed to see Rodney Jones up there, he is a bit over rated but I think his character would have ruled.
Also how about Soliman, he has fought some huge names and done more than his fair share to shake up the top 20 in the division.
Or Nader Hamdan, OMG! that guy is a kick to watch, if you have not seen this guy rumble yet you are in for a treat.
I have mentioned Joppy in other posts but he would be high on my list.
Hey! Kelly Pavlik its time to step up, Id love to see this guy against any of the season ones contenders, I think he may be the real deal.
Ricardo Mayorga? Im sure that should raise some eyebrows, LMAO if he could Stay out of court. But who would not want to see that guy drunk pounding cigs on prime time Sunday nights?
Is Carl Daniels done? what a class act journeymen, he would be fun, and a real asset to the others on the show.
And just to give one more underdog a shot Daniel Dawson, he has yet to fight the big contenders but wow can this puppy punch.

Id love to hear some of your thoughts.
Yes I am predicting a season two.

Mayorga would be hilarious. OMG. Can you imagine trying to get him to play along as a teammate? Still, if he has any more fights like he did against Trinidad, he'll need to be on "The Punching Bag" rather than "The Contender." If they do another season, I believe they have already decided to make it a different weight class, so I don't know who they might even consider picking.

Well maybe they will go with the big boys?
Oh man if there is a god the next show will put Tarver and Toney in the same living space for several months.
Throw Tyson into the recipe and I will pre order the full season on DVD right now,
Oh Oh and Tua, lol and Moore, can you believe that he is still mixing it up? Good for him I wish him well but yikes man…Yikes!
Than pick from the field; Joe Mesi, Samuel Peter, Ronnie Smith (LAMO), DaVarryl Williamson (only because W. Klitschko was going to loose)
And finish it off with Derek Bryant and of course Riddick “the repeat offender” Bowe
Wow I should so be a producer. I would run a second show called “The Manager” where managers get to compete to manage the next contender.
Put Norman Stone in the same one bedroom apartment with Alton Merkerson, Pat Lynch, and Shelly Finkel and let the good times roll, that right there is better than porn!

Word on the street is that Toney may get his own reality show in the not too distant future. Probably on Spike TV. Seriously.

FarwestChips you kill me with your posts. You have made me laugh plenty thank you for the humor in your posts

Ok it's good to see you guys talking shop and all. LOL @ season 2.
Here we are sweating bullets for our current ratings and you guys are already watching a second season *ggg*

Weight class is a factor. I seen ButterBean on Imus in the morning and he is still fighting lol

But on a more serious note, there is a kid I saw on ESPN one Friday night with a very unorthodox style. I did not catch his name. Young white maybe Irish or Italian. When he loaded up for a power punch he would do a front style muscle flex like the Incredible Hulk when angry, and then would swing a wild wide right hand swing and tries landing it with the exterior part of his glove. Very funny. Good boxer with alot of heart. Any one know this kid? I said wide wild right but then again I think he was a south paw so then oh blah you know what I mean, it would be the other way around. lol

I can't wait for tommorow to see the second episode of The Contender. I hope I don't fall asleep

I wonder if you're talking about Paul Malignaggi, a flashy, cocky, but definitely talented young jr. welterweight (140lb) fighter from Brooklyn? Sounds like that could be him.
