Today, I watched the entire opening sequence frame by frame (it took several hours!!!) and then I captured a few images I thought were interesting, so here we go:

First, during the segment where they say talk about the final two, we see the following vid caps... I can tell that the final two are white, and that at least one of them is male... there is a single frame with a blurry face... any guesses who it is???:

The next two photos are shown briefly in the opening credits, and I'm not sure we've seen this scene yet on the show, so these people might be in a future episode... who are they???

Finally, at the end of the opening, we see the following frames flash in rapid succession... each one of these shots is shown for 4 frames, and it is very fast (like a strobe effect) in real speed... three questions to debate:

1) Why these specific recruits???
2) Why are Morettiiiiiii's dogtags shown every other frame throughout this sequence... is this significant???
3) Can anyone list the recruits shown in order? (I'm too tired to figure out which is which yet...)

Coming tomorrow (If I get around to it): Vidcaps form the preview... It takes about an hour to do the vidcaps, so I'll try to do them if I have a chance...

Tonight was even longer, because watching the entire opening sequence frame-by-frame took about 2 hours... and then I started the vidcaps... I feel there is a clue to the winner here, since this is a total rip-off form Survivor, and there were the shots of Rich and Kelly with the torches in the original series. If the producer's copying MB as closely as it seems, there's bound to be something in the credits... the Morettiiii dog tags almost seems too obvious, but then again...

Opinions anyone???

Great Vidcaps Sleeeve. But why are there so many of Moretty's dogtags. That seems so odd. Hmmmm?

I'm wondering the same thing... it seems too obvious, but then again, why not try to give us a hint in the opening credits... if they're pulling a Survivor, Morettiiiii will be runner up, and half-way thru the season, they'll change the dog tags to the winner's...

Does anyone have past episodes on tape??? My VCR was broken, so I'd like to know if the dog tags have always been Morettiiii's, or if they change every episode...

To Loree (and others):

The dog tags belong to male recruit Moretti (with an i) NOT to female recruit Moretty (with a y)... we all gotta watch our spelling here, because it DOES make a difference!!!

(I like shakes' way of spelling Morettiiiii and Morettyyyyy)

EDITED TO ADD: The reason I'd like people to check past episodes is that they might just show the Squad Leader's dog tags at the start of each episode... Morettiiii was SL in Ep3, and if that's the reasoning behind the dog tags, there's nothing to them, but if Morettiiii's dog tags are shown every Ep, there's a lot more to this.

I should have a tape still with Ep1 & Ep2, I'll try and check this weekend, but it might be difficult since I'm sure I recorded at SLP speed.

All the vidcaps I included were recorded on SLP (because I'm an idiot and forgot to change it before I hit record)...

That's why a couple of things are a little blurry... I'm gonna try to get a better capture of the enlarged final two guy (the one with "who is this" written on it) after this week's episode.

Sleeve you're right. It's Moretti with an "i". I always get them mixed up.

I checked the opening of episode 2 and Morretti's tags were there as well.
Can anyone identify some of the faces in that sequence?

Since no one else has done it yet, and I actually have time right now, here's my speculation of who the people in face paint are... rather than reposting all of the pics here, I'll just list them in order (top to bottom):

1: Close-up of Pic #2 (eyes are same, so is light part of the makeup (skin?), to the right of the nose).

2: Recruit Brown (compare eyes, eyebrows, nose shape, to her photo from the official site, shown here:

3: Not sure... Morettyyyy or Coddington, maybe... I'm leaning toward Moretty, but willing to hear arguments...

4: Jackson

5: I think it's Meyer, but it might be D.I. Francisco

6: Lauder

7: Cheeks look feminine, but those might be braces in there... so Yaney (as VampKira pointed out above)???

8: Appears to be male... The only male recruits without blue eyes are Jackson, Morettiiii, Park, Wolf, and maybe Yaney(can't tell from his pics on the site)... Wrong skin color (around eyes) for Jackson, Park... wrong face shape for Yaney... Therefore, this is Wolf or Morettiiii!!! I think it is Moretti... it looks similar to his photo from the official site, seen here:

If this is true, we have a closeup (obscured) shot of Morettiiiii and his dog tags in the opening of every episode (by the way, thanks brishen for checking episode 2)... could he be the winner???

I think there is a very strong possibility Morettiiii is in the final two, if not the winner of the whole thing!
