Not buying EJ (although he has been noticeably absent lately)...only because he was dancing with Sami when the first glove incident occurred.

I have heard rumblings that it's a DiMera (either Stefano or Kristen). Honestly though, I think the writers are scrambling to think of someone good for it to be (hey, maybe it's Stephanie...her mom doesn't approve of her job).

I'm thinking either Crazy Marlena or even John Black(which I would love if it was one of these two as I can't stand them) is back or maybe someone we don't know. Have we ever heard of Bonnie's ex-husband? Is he still alive?

I can't quite think of who would care about all the people they are interfering with.

I really hope the result of petri dish swapping is not a Belle/Shawn baby. Please stop trying to make them a true love couple.

I have not seen an episode in six weeks or so, which makes this a total guess, but I thought that Dr. Alex North disappeared a little too easily. Any chance that "The Glove" is him?

There's always a chance. Alex fell off of a cliff into turbulent waters, and his body was never found, nor discussed. I'm not sure about Wayne Northrup's contract - is it over?

explain what the glove did to the eggs and sperm and petri dishes. This is so stupid but I can't even follow it anymore.

Whose embryo was implanted in Belle? Why did the glove switch the dish back after? Why did no one see the glove lurking on the back of Belle's bed? Why would anyone care about these idiots?

I actually saw part of an episode the other day, but I still feel out of the loop.

If some of these couples are planning to use a surrogate mother anyway ---> why does it matter who actually carries the baby?

OK, I've just caught up on this week's episodes.

Originally (immediately prior to the fist pump of victory), just the lids on the unfertilized embryos were switched. Then they were fertilized.

This week, then Philip's sperm fertilized Mimi's egg and was implanted into Belle. ShawnD's sperm fertilized Belle's egg and was implanted into Lauren (the as-yet-unseen surrogate).

Then, Glovie took the entire petri dish (now empty, since they've been successfully implanted) and switched the carrying trays which were also labeled. The only reason that I can think of for this second switch was to set the stage for the "truth" to come out...now the nurses suspect there may have been a problem. Otherwise, it may be years before it ever comes to light, and only the viewers and Glovie (who they're making to look like Stephanie, but I don't think it is) will make the connection.

Confusing? You bet!
