Cause of DAW death: celebrity. Apparently Carolyn was doing a lot of paid public speaking appearances, using her free time to bask in the spotlight, and basically spending the majority of her hours out from under Donald's thumb. This was an intolerable state of affairs that could not be allowed to continue, so -- it didn't.

Since the next season appears to have finished filming, Carolyn will make a few last appearances. Ivanka appears to be to the heir apparent for the Boardroom seat after that.

In addition, it appears DONALD, JR. will be taking over George's role on future editions of the show.

George is still with the Trump organization, however, unlike Carolyn.

It appears The Apprentice is a Trump Family Reunion now!

NEW YORK (Aug. 31) - She's fired!

Carolyn Kepcher, a Trump organization executive famous for her role as a tough-talking judge on the hit television reality show "The Apprentice," is being replaced on the show by his daughter and is no longer with the company, a Trump representative said on Thursday.

The representative declined further comment, but the New York Post said Donald Trump 's TV sidekick was fired after spending too much time cultivating her own celebrity with speaking engagements.

Kepcher had been with the real estate mogul for more than 10 years, most recently serving as chief operating officer of Trump National Golf Club in Westchester, New York, and helping manage another Trump golf club in New Jersey.

In an e-mailed statement from a representative, Kepcher said, "Donald and I had different visions for my future role in the company."

She also said she was grateful for the opportunities she had had with the Trump organization and is confident she is well prepared for future endeavors.

Trump's daughter, Ivanka, will replace Kepcher on NBC's "The Apprentice," and his son, Donald Jr., will replace the show's other judge, George Ross, the Post said.

Trump would confer with Kepcher and Ross each week before deciding which corporate wannabe seeking a full-time job with Trump would have to hear his curt signature phrase, "You're fired!"

Ross, a 78-year-old real estate lawyer, remains with the Trump organization, a Trump spokeswoman said.

As well as cashing in on her Apprentice fame through speaking engagements, Kepcher wrote a book, "Carolyn 101: Business Lessons from The Apprentice's Straight Shooter."

Phone calls to Kepcher's representatives were not immediately returned.

Trump is disgusting. I hope the new season of The Apprentice tanks even more than Martha's.

As if the show wasn't already heading south. Note to Donald we don't want to see your kids. Guess Donald is taking the route of Ozzy Osbourne and Hulk Hogan by using his show to make his kids national celebrities. Looks like even Donald knows the show is on it's last leg. Too bad....this will be it for the show.

I really don't know if I can stomach being Ivanka in the Be The Apprentice game...uck. I can't believe Donald did this...he's really clueless.

This is the worst example of a bigot feeling threatened by an intelligent competent woman. I'm sure Carolyn will land on her feet.

I like Carolyn and I like Ivanka. Young Donald doesn't seem to like being on the show.

It would've been smart for The Donald to let both of the women be his "henchmen," instead of having a male henchman with no personality on the show. Smart eye candy giving sound business advice to a domineering and not good-looking mogul makes for sexy and interesting television.

All-in-all, I think this was a dumb move. But Carolyn's rich, hot, and smart. She'll be alright.

This show lost me last season when it really just turned into an hour of corporate advertising. I liked the earlier shows that had challenges like remodeling a hotel, setting up a restuarant, producing an event, and so one. Now every episode wraps around some corporations name or product. Aren't we slammed with enough advertising in our lives as it is....now we have to watch a reality show push it in our faces even more... sorry.. I jumped ship after the Randle fiasco.... TRUMP....YOU'RE FIRED.
