"Average Joe 2 summaries"

Posted by AyaK on 12-10-03 at 08:06 PM
I know this doesn't seem like the best time -- especially since people are now debating whether Larissa will be another Melana -- but we're starting to look for summary writers for Average Joe 2. If you're interested in summarizing an episode of this show, please post in this thread.

Your chances of doing an episode will be enhanced if (1) you haven't compared the forum moderators to Nazis and (2) you participate in other forums on Reality TV World. However, people who just participate in this forum are not excluded.

I would love to try my hand at one of these, AyaK. If I could get a later episode (say in Feb instead of Jan) that would be optimal.

I know this isn't what you are asking, but I would be interested in reviewing an episode of Donald Trump's "The Apprentice". I don't see it on the list.

I know I'm kinda new to these boards, but I would like to give one a try. If you would rather have someone who's done it before though, I totally understand!! Thanks!

I could do it.

I'm new to this forum but I used to post a lot on Fox's forum for Paradise Hotel. (Which by the way I thought went so far downhill that by the end it had become one of the worst reality shows of all time... Let's see ... what is the twist du jour? Maybe we can have four or five twists in one episode .... Naw ... let's make it TEN!! ... )

I've been a Survivor Fan from day one and have just about every episode on tape. I regularly peruse the various sites from SurvivorNews.net to Survivor Sucks.

I think Average Joe 2 is going to be pretty extreme ... given who they have selected for Average Joes. But Larissa appears to be a wild card. Not sure what's going to come down, but it should be interesting.

Anyway ... let me know if I can help.

JP

I'd like to try writing a summary for one.

The sign-up thread "closes" Dec. 21. I'll assign the episodes at that time. If you're interested and you haven't signed up, your last chance is approaching.

OK, here's the lineup. Thanks to everyone who signed up. For those of you who were left out, I'm going to start the summary thread for The Bachelorette 2 tomorrow.

Ep. 1 (Monday, Jan. 5): Lisapooh
Ep. 2 (Monday, Jan. 12): GuessItRains
Ep. 3 (Monday, Jan. 19): Howard Dean*
Ep. 4 (Monday, Jan. 26): SilverStar*
Ep. 5 (Monday, Feb. 2): tig_ger* (being a kissa$$ has its benefits)
Ep. 6 (Monday, Feb. 9): MTW1961

(* - new writers)

ego, I wasn't sure if that was a serious offer to write a summary. If it was, then you're the first alternate. sbeck, you're the second alternate.

Excellent. Thank you.

I wonder whether I should point out that I'm not precisely a new writer. I did write a summary for The Next Joe Millionaire. Nah. Never raise expectations.

My goodness, they added three episodes to this show. ego, sbeck, TeamJoisey, are the three of you still interested in writing a summary?

I would be happy to write a summary or two. However, I am new here, and I only post to this particular forum. I'm sure there are people who have been here longer, and are a little more "qualified". But if you need help I'd be happy to write for the forum.

I'm too lazy to check -- when is your Survivor All-Stars summary?

"RE: Survivor conflict?"

TJ has All-Stars Ep5 -- 2/26... which means he probably would only be interested in AJ2's 2/16 Ep7 or 3/1's series finale

"Ep. 7"
Posted by AyaK on 02-10-04 at 05:34 PM
Ugh. I knew I should have checked before posting to Shakespeare_Thompson, but I just haven't had time (but I actually expect to have a little more time in two weeks -- yea!).

I can't see TJ wanting either Ep. 8 or Ep. 9, since they fall on two Mondays, and his Survivor episode is on the Thursday between them. Thus, let's revise this schedule.

TeamJoisey, would you like to do Ep. 7 (Feb. 16)?

Webby, I'll offer Shakespeare_Thompson Ep. 8, instead of Ep. 7. And we're still looking for someone for Ep. 9...

I'd be happy to do either episode 8 or episode 9.

Should someone like Ayak or SS give the go ahead first?

I tape all the episodes, so as soon as I get the go ahead, I'll do it.

Sorry guys, AK has been offline for most of the past couple of weeks and I just noticed this topic now -- in the future feel free to email me if you think something's been left unsettled summary-wise.

Howard, if you're still willing to take Ep8, please do. Now from what I can tell, is anyone signed up for Ep9?? MTW1961, are you interested?

Thanks,
SB

Thanks SB,

PepeLePew offered to do episode 9, so I'll defer to him. If he doesn't want to do it, I'll take the backup position.

Hi Mark, I'm still waiting for Pepe to follow through with last week's Fiance Ep5 summary, so I'm ruling him out of this show -- do you want it?

Thanks,

Larissa sent 2 joes and 2 jocks home tonight. So there are 3 more joes and 3 more jocks in the game. What's important is Larissa saw through Michael K's facade and sent him home tonight. Michael C is still in the game. He is the guy who called Larissa beaver. I hope he will be gone next week when Larissa find out how much of an ass he is when she dress up in a fat suit.
