"Bachelorette Andi-Finale and ATFR"

Won't see the start of this, but I'll see the end. Am hoping to be home in time to see Andi's family meet the guy it's rumored she picked. It's also possible they'll announce the next Bachelor tonight, and it would be lunacy if they don't pick Farmer Chris IMNVHO.

Just got home & saw some of Josh's convo with Hy. A big difference from his interaction with Juan Pablo. If Andi chooses Josh, it'll be Andi Josh has to keep happy more than Hy. Her family loved Nick, though, too, so at this point it was by no means locked up.

Josh was the first guy up in Andi's final round of dates.

Methinks Nick is about to get the ax.

Nick is now getting the ax.

Nick is pissed, and when Andi leaves, it's raining.

Josh meets Andi, pops the question, she says yes, and after that they can't keep their lips and hands off each other.

Nick confronts Andi on AFTR. Calls her out on screwing him if she wasn't gonna marry him. She says that should have been kept private, but that's what she gets for breaking his heart after going that far.

Nick had to know there was a chance Andi wouldn't choose him. Didn't he prepare himself for that? After all this was part of the show you start out with 25 men/women and get down to one.More importantly, he had a say in whether they had sex. If he considered this as he said fiancee behavior then he should've said no.

I suspect Nick was a little naive about this show going in, and might not have ever seen it. And I think he was pretty overconfident at the end and probably thought she wouldn't be screwing Josh. There is usually somebody who gets his or her heart pretty badly broken at some point, so I suspect many of the contestants go on these shows without ever having seen them after either being recommended by someone else or recruited by the show, and I suspect naivete about this franchise is pretty widespread.

Nick naive? Wasn't he the one who was telling the other men what would be happening each week?So I doubt you could say he was naive
about the show.
More importantly if having sex was what he called fiancee behavior
and he was so confident about he & Andi, what was the hurry to have sex? After all, the Final Rose Ceremony wasn't all that many days away and what a way to celebrate it.
Let's also look at the success or should we say lack of success rate of the show. After 28 seasons how many marriages have there been? Not many even if you include contestants who find their spouse at the show's alumni events. The Biggest Loser has commented they are responsible for more marriages than this show.
Even if Nick & Andi met in the real world there is no guarantee of success. There are thousands of broken engagements every year as well as countless couples applying for marriage licenses that don't get used.
So while we hope for the best each season, isn't half the reason we watch is to enjoy the train wrecks?

Yes, it should have been kept private -- and that should have told Andi she did the right thing dumping him.

OTOH, if she's so in love with Josh, what the heck was she doing making love to Nick the night before the engagement? This show is such a crock.

Josh didn't seem the least bit concerned when he arrived on the show after hearing Nick say he and Andi made love. And why do they never say what Josh's profession is now? They always say he's a former professional baseball player. I think he's just a player - period.

Well, "professional baseball player" should be used loosely. While he was drafted in the second round, he never made it into the major leagues. He was stuck in minor leagues on a farm team and only had a .175 batting average. In the minor leagues, you're only paid a very small salary plus a small meal allowance riding in busses to minor league games...not riding in jets the way pro baseball players are. He's now a financial rep. His younger brother had more luck, being drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs in the 5th round. I only started watching the Bachelorette episodes so I'm a little late to the game on this...

What I would like to know is if Andrew really called Marquel "blackie." That's a pretty inflammatory accusation. There has been no footage pulled forward. I think the accuser made it up. Andrew looked pretty surprised when he was accused of that like it was the first time he was hearing of it. The Bachelor show should have unearthed the footage and cleared that up.

I don't think the prods really care whether he said it or not. In truth, they'd probably like that whole incident to be forgotten, and so they aren't likely to dredge that footage up unless they have to.

Don't each of them wear mics? We hear everything they say as they approach the bachelorette. It seems like the producers milked that situation, but really didn't clear it up and just let Andrew twist in the wind...being called a racist is probably the most inflammatory charge you can accuse someone of....they could easily have zoomed in and just read his lips...plus, there are microphones everywhere, how is there not audio of this alleged statement? Farmer Chris did bring up an interesting point. He pointed out that it seems like JJ's m.o. is to pretend to be a gentlemen but then go and spread these things. I'm a little suspicious that JJ was just stirring up trouble to get rid of various castmates. When they had a camera on Andrew and JJ....Andrew looked resolute while JJ had tics of deception. The reason I do not completely trust the ABC producers is because Chris Harrison did the whole fake ultra sound with Ashley and JP even though the couple already knew the sex of their baby 2 weeks prior.
