Argh! I tried putting a spoiler warning in the thread title, but looks like you can't use angled brackets in the title. So consider this your warning

That suspension ritual was pretty incredible!! LOL at Don licking his lips!

I gotta say Eric is playing a damn good game, and Noel's cynicism is pretty funny too. I wonder who Don meant when he mentioned the "cat fight" between Nichole and another guest. Cat fight seems to indicate two women, but I guess it doesn't have to. Loana, because of what she said in deliberation? Also interesting that Fiona said Loana was the only one who didn't need immunity.

And I don't buy Tim's self-pity, but it is a little too convenient that they got rid of the old folks in two consecutive weeks before everybody gets naked.

Good luck with the summary Swami - it was a great ep, but it seems like it could be a hard one to capture. At least you got Tim's swan song to have fun with.

- I do think Tim probably did get the rough end of the editing stick though.

Fiona really seems to fall for the tattle tales. I think she should make her own decisions. I find from week to week I change in who I like and don't like. Very interesting.

yeah, you would think her meditation and spells would make her more perceptive. She seems to be pushing for a "Wiccans gone wild" video spot.

She seems to be pushing for a "Wiccans gone wild" video spot.

Okay, that had me laughing big time HE!

Can you believe I missed this episode! Since I've only seen one so far (and not even all of that) I had totally forgotten that it was on last night. I tried to find the repeats on Tuesday that someone here said they were showing, but was unsuccessful. *pout*

Will they show it again? When? Where?

I can't wait for your summary Swami, I need to know what happened!

HE, I was so into this episode, especially because of Art's showcase, that I had chills and wept since it moved me so much. Amazing, I really don't think I EVER felt that connected to something on a reality TV show.

I'm glad Tim is gone, he was driving me crazy. Ya know though, I feel really bad for Nichole. I think she's really changing as a person, it's just hard for peeps to see it due to her 'beauty pageant' past. Eric and Noel are seriously making me laugh!! Jamie is just blah to me anymore. During Art's suspension, she kept swaying her arms and I so wanted to strap her down!

Loana is steadily climbing into my heart with her new found 'spine'! I think that Brent was holding her back from really opening up. I was mesmerized while Art was holding Nichole during his suspension. They really bonded, that's for sure! Wow! It's still affecting me in a powerful way. (I'm a dork, I know!)

I miss Bonnie. I wish Tim had gone last week so Jamie could be gone this week, but I don't always get what I want!! Don was making me giggle throughout the entire episode. Him under the umbrella was just too funny! I think he's gonna have to move up in my ratings!!

I agree about the ritual and about Don, even though his "Fake fake etc etc" speech was kind of annoying (though I agree) and his fake out move on Loana of all people was stupid. Other than those two minor things I really did like him this ep. I've always like Loana too and thought her and Eric playing "Rock, paper, scissors" for immunity was funny.

I was feeling bad for Nichole too. I think she is getting more out of this than Eric or Noel. And Fiona is listening to the tattle tales who are threatened by Nichole. Even Loana was running to Fiona about Nichole.

Did Jamie have sage or some other scent she was trying to wave around the room during Art's suspension? Or was she just being really odd? She was distracting.

I felt bad for Nicole too. I can't believe Fiona doesn't see through Eric and Loana's tattling. Maybe Fiona is playing them all? I guess we'll see.

Don under the umbrella was a hoot!

Art is my favorite Alt. He sealed that spot last night.

I have to agree with Loree that I think Jamie had incense during Art's ritual and she was waving it around. It was a tad annoying, but I don't think she was trying to be disruptive. But that's just me.

WOW too!!!

I just watched this episode this morning and I loved it (life intervened in my viewing plans last night.)!!!

All I know so far is that I will not be titling it "Hey Art, How's It Hanging." Rarely, rarely, do you see moments so capturing Real on Reality TV. Art's suspension was one of those times.
R-E-S-P-E-C-T, that's what Art means to me.

Of course I'll still make fun of everyone since (in the words of Col. Jack O'Neill) "It's what we do."

Wow is a great way to describe this episode! The more I see of this show, the more I'm digging it. Is it just me or did Mad Mad House episode five just like blow Survivor episode nine out of the freaking water? Because I'm a second shifter, I am dependent on VCR taping; MMH will be viewed first next week.

Art was just ... in best Christopher Walken voice ... Wow Wow Wowee. One of the coolest and most amazing things I've seen on reality TV. Tim was so ridiculous in thinking he could even remotely do anything like this. Hell one hook and he would have been crying for mama. On a side a note about Art … any hard-core X-File fans here? Did I once see Art in an episode? It was the one were Fox and Scully went to the freak show trailer park and in the end it was the mutant brother who lived in the stomach and crawled out to commit the murders. Wasn't Art a background extra or maybe even had a speaking role?

Fiona was her usual sexy goddess self. Avacodo is one heck of a Jenga player, a tuff but fun game. Don even made me laugh a number of times! His Fake Fake Fake speech could easily be used to describe himself. Ta'Shia was just sort of there as usual. The contestants I like had good showings and the one I despised got the boot. What more could I ask for?

that episode is called "Humbug" and it is one of my faves! but after a little searching i think that if he was in it, it was probably an uncredited roll. i'll be sure to keep an eye out next time that episode comes on TNT or SciFi (TNT is just finishing up the last season, and Humbug is near the end of season 2, so it should be on TNT first, barring a marathon on SciFi or elsewhere). Other channels carry X-Files too, but I'm not sure what days or times

I read an article on Fiona in New Witch Magazine. She was asked quite a few times before producers convinced her to do the show. She said the premis(sp?) of the show sounded shallow. Glad she did it. But I was a bid disapointed the used a Wiccan. There are many Witches including myself who are not Wiccan.(I have Nothing against Wiccans) I wish they would have just put a Pagan. Now people think I'm like her LOL

Wow Gael! Had no idear that there was a magazine dedicated to witches. I guess it's probably because I'm not a witch or I guess it's a warlock for males. If anyone wants to checkout the cover with Fiona it's at http://www.newwitch.com Was hoping to read the article online but just the picture will have to suffice because for the article is a pay for.

As far as I know they haven't given an indication which (get it which? witch? *bwhahahaha* tradition that Fiona follows. Now granted, I haven't seen many episodes, but it seems to me that Fiona is following a non-Gardnerian path. Gardner whether you follow him or not, has helped get the "witch" stereotype pushed aside. More and more people are understanding what a witch really is as opposed to automatically assuming devil worship, ritual human sacrifice, baby killing and general all around "ooginess".

I guess what I'm saying is...of course they used Wiccan to describe Fiona. Pagan is much much too general for what she practices. Avocado is a pagan. So is Art. So is Don. So is the woman practicing Vodun (sorry can't remember her name). Pagan is a usually a general description of a person with non-monotheistic beliefs. A person who believes that the salt and pepper shaker on their counter could be called a pagan but most certainly not a witch. Wiccan is (for good or bad) a more commonly recognized "good" label for a witch. Besides, we are dealing with TV here.

My feeling? Most of the "wicca" books out there are crap. Personally I think Scott Cunningham needs to be put in a room without writing impliments and beaten with a stick, but hey, that's just me.
