The activity on this board is pretty slow. Does that mean that you don't like this show?

It seems to me that by ensuring this show is accessible to the masses (ie. television viewing audience), we geeks aren't as in to it. I mean...if you can solve the puzzle just by watching the show what is the point of sifting through the Push Times archives.

Just wondering what you guys think?

What is this show anyways? I keep hearing about it but I've never even seen it!

Oh TriGirl! I am so glad you started this thread. I am looking for some kind poster to step forward and take my hands off of writing an episode summary. It turns out that I am sooo not into this series like I thought I would be. I am watching it, but without the necessary gusto to do a summary proper justice.

So if there are any peeps out there that are interested, please let me know. I am scheduled to write Ep.8.

This show has no interest for me at all. Thought I'd love it, but no. Can you spell pretentious (I can't)? From the names (or lack of them) to the pseudo-film noir thing to the ridiculously complex websites, who cares? Even for $1045000?

There's not an ounce of personality in the whole thing.

I'm watching CSI instead. And BTW I'm hooked on TAR again although I'm not posting!!

PUSH RECORD: According to the folks at TiVo, the five most popular new TV shows — based on the number of users who have configured their recorder to automatically record every episode — are CBS's CSI: Miami and Without A Trace, Fox's Firefly and John Doe and ABC's Push, Nevada.

Maybe people just don't wanna talk about it 'cause they're greedy.

Not sure what to make of that!

IMHO, Without A Trace is A+++; CSI Miami is not anywhere near as good as the original (Kim Delaney vs Marg Helgenberger and/or Jorja Fox - I don't think so! and William Peterson vs David Caruso isn't worth discussing); Firefly is just plain weird and may be OK; John Doe - when's it on??; and you know what I think of Push.

Maybe I really am just getting old!

Well, with TiVo you set up your recordings before the season starts from what I understand. You can record on a one time basis. If you want, you can set up TiVo to tape the entire season at the same time every week. I imagine that most people anticipated an interesting show and set up TiVo ahead of time. Doesn't mean they are still watching.

I am still watching, but I just can't get over the women's dialogue and acting..Like they are plastic replicas of people instead of the real thing.

I know what you mean. I really like the character of Jim but gosh-darn the character of Mary makes me really want to heave. Grace might finally be okay as she at least has some balls!
