One of you said this somewhere over the last couple of days.
Who was it, and what is your high score?

I suspect someone else shares my new addiction

It was our B12 friend.

But please, please don't go talk to her about it.

That is incorrect. Ms. Wheezy?

I think it was another newbie who came out of nowhere. Welcome, newbie. Even if it wasn't you. I'll risk $1000 on that one, JV.

I don't think it was her, besides I don't want her to get anymore email, since she clearly doesn't understand.

Wheezy said it?

It may have been someone else too but she did say it. I wasn't try to be sarcastic (for a change)

Yeah, that's what I thought!!!!
Love, totally LOVE, "Poultry in motion."

I had a lot of jungle fowl living in my back yard some years ago...

there was a point at which, once all the well hidden eggs began to hatch, that it was pretty intensely fowl poultry....

When you have to explain humor, it is no longer funny.

Of course, one is left to wonder if a meta-explanation ruins the experience as well.

Just copied and pasted her message. Not my words.

Buggy asked where she heard it. Probably here.

Whoops, my bad. My browser had not refreshed and I did't see cahaya's response. Never mind.

Yeah, I was just trying to be helpful, too. My post came in just after Nutz's; it wasn't there when I hit the post button. The Poetry in Motion thing was just an aside.

*shrug* ed. add: Sent an alert suggesting a lock on CT thread due to CT cluelessly responding every e-mail notification.

I liked your poetry in motion post.
Interesting aside.
I was hoping it would be locked, since she really doesn't get it.

Thanks.

Looking forward to SherpaDave starting up the Story/Poetry forum later this month. It'll be fun reading (and maybe contributing to!).

Yes, the race is over.
I beat my Hubby and that is all I was hoping for.
But some of our team scored high enought that they will make the leaderboard ( out of the thousands playing)
We had a good day!!

What? You expect something else from me? Silly man!

It wasn't negativity. Just pointing out that an explained joke isn't funny.

My DH was laid off last month and is still looking!

Wasn’t going away due to negativity. Geez if I did that every time that happened I’d never be here. You can’t get rid of me that easily. I’m not one of those who can dish it out but not take it. It was time for Mrs Frank to play her on-line games (yes, we have to share).
Good luck to your hubby. I was only out for 4 weeks and almost 3 of those were the bureaucratic red tape involved in hiring (interviews, interviews with execs from other offices, waiting on paperwork from corp HQ, etc.). I got real lucky this time. A fellow employee (at former company) had a friend at a competitor who did what I did (writing proposals for engineering firms) so she called her the day I got laid off and her friend had just resigned that day so they had an unexpected opening they needed to fill immediately. So it worked out for everyone.
I was laid off a couple of years ago and it took 13 months to find a job. Nearly killed us financially.
I wish you well.

Hi Wheezy,
lol
No, it's not like JV's ads on his blog where if you click you get a few cents.

I looked into those ads, but I felt like people who came forinformation would feel they were being used. So I didn't do it.

though almost all sites have those thngs now.

Actually, it was alwaysintruble1 in post#148 of that thread.

It caught my eye not only for the pun, but the similarity to the phrase "Poetry in Motion". I since checked out the site for that phrase, which is a registered trademark of the Poetry Society of America (PSA).

Why is the "Poetry in Motion" phrase of interest? I often ride the light-rail transit here in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and they have posted Poetry in Motion on the trains here, many of them wonderful classics. And was a surprise to see it all originated from the PSA posting poems on NYC trains, now being posted on the other side of the world for Asians to appreciate.

I feel badly for CT, I think she? truly doesn't understand & it seems the B-12 references are going overboard here, just my opinion.

Yeah, you're probably right. I just discovered the thread this morning - probably skimmed it a bit too quickly. Thought it was a joke.
