Tonight the crap hits the fan again. Post your thoughts here. If I'm able to watch I'll probably post some thoughts during the show.

Des is pi$$ed, nobody gets the rose, and she's about to read James the riot act.

James trying to bull$hit his way out of getting booted, but I don't think it's working.

Adios, James.

I never found Kasey to be attractive. Nice guy, though.

I'm gonna miss Juan Pablo, but I didn't think he'd make it to F1.

James just tried and tried to justify his comments. He made it worse, not better, when he kept talking. I'm so glad for these moments because it shows that not only women are like that.

Question is was there really anything truly wrong in the conversation between Mikey & James? If either one of them said something like they weren't truly into Des but they were willing to smooze her to get to F4 & the opportunities that comes with F4 then that's wrong. All they were saying is life would go on for them if Des didn't choose either of them. However, if they made F4 and had the opportunity to be The Bachelor it certainly wouldn't be so bad. Now is that really wrong?

IMO, you're right. The odds of walking into the sunset are 25 to 1. The odds of becoming the next Bach increase greatly as you approach F1. It's just tacky to be overheard saying that.

I get what the other guys were saying, too - that you don't think about the next person you're going to date when you're dating someone for whom you claim to have strong feelings.

I understood James' position. I'm not sure the other guys really got what he was saying. I sort of have more respect for that than I do the people who are reduced to near suicide when the Bach/ette rejects them after knowing the person for all of about a month.

When you start a season as a suitor on the Bachelorette, you have a 4% chance of getting the final rose, so the guys and Des are all being very unrealistic about this. It was 2 guys from the same hometown talking about what they might do and what life might hold for them if Des didn't pick them. It's no sin to do that, and both the other guys and Des have a very inflated opinion of themselves if what Mikey and James did offends them. Now if somebody is intentionally using Des or the show in a designed plan to further their future, then yeah, that's a bit tacky, but it's no crime to keep other possibilities in mind with the thought of how you conduct yourself on the show might affect them being right in line behind Des.
