Yeppers, it is on again! Here is a list of the Top 22. I think this season, Canadian Idol is going to follow what American Idol did in the last couple of seasons with the middle round.

I admit, I really like the girls and boys nights better than a random groups where one night could be bad and the people sent through don't deserve to be there and another night could be great and only two make it through when three or four people should've moved on. Plus, I find the people more memorable when you see them more than once.

Any thoughts?

Just means that DH will have both phone lines and cell phones tied up for 2 hours after the show!
The talent this year seems prettty good. Hope there is not a scheduling conflict with treasure hunters.

I'm still out here, and watching, but I did miss two weeks worth of episodes because I was on holidays in the US. They didn't have CI but what did surprise me was that they did have CFL football. So I was able to watch the Riders lose.

Huge lack of discussion around here for CI, but I will throw out another note.

I was happy to see Chad go home this week. His grin was spooky.

So now we have 3 left. This week they are singing "Standards" (think Tony Bennett). I think that Tyler will fail badly, and be the next to go. Then we will be down to Eva and Craig, and while Craig has the voice of an angel, I just can't see a guy with that voice being an idol (unless he is Michael Jackson).

My fav is still Eva. I think she has the full package. Great voice, great look, and she really seems to connect with the songs/audience/camera.

Now let this thresd go back to sleep.

Congratulations to Eva Avila for winning Canadian Idol. Great voice, fun personality, and she looks this good...

If Catherine McFee gave us "McFevor", then surely Miss Avila springs "hope Eva-lasting".

I don't know - I personally think everyone wants to be an American Idol. When people enter derivatives of the original show, they actually are longing to be the next Kelly Clarkson etc. Where the heck are Canadian Idols? Where'd that Ryan guy go? Probably back to Kingston?
