"Anyone watch this?"

I watched Celebrity Mole but taped this, but then didn't have a chance to watch it yet (and also discovered that maybe taping it shouldn't hav ebeen a big concern since FX is rerunning it like ten times in the next week.)

What it any good? What's the audience's first choice?

Thanks,
SB

LAST EDITED ON 01-22-04 AT 02:42 PM (EST)

Webby, I watched the second showing of this at 11:00 ET. It wasn't that exciting. The show began with Todd's 30th birthday party (thrown by the producers). The show's host appeared and made him sign his contract so that he would have to "start right now" with Todd TV. The rest of the show introduced Todd, his mom, his ex (who also appeared on The Bachelor, conincidentally) and his therapist (hired by the show despite his objections). There were the expected privacy issues with cameras trying to barge into his bathroom, etc.

They had evidently taken emails before filming and followed some of those instructions on this episode. They made him quit his job, take a paper route and write the theme song.

Next week, the viewers decide whether he takes his therapist or his mom as his roommate and whether he takes a job performing singing telegrams or as a personal assistant to Brett Michaels from Poison.

...Siren
Very contrived, all of it, not that I expected anything less.
Edited for spelling.

Ya, they'd put the website up a couple of weeks ago.

I couldn't agree more. Wow, sounds like this is going to bomb -- and not in a good way!

I thought it was hard to follow. They never explained why the people in his life dislike him so much. I mean, their disdain seems to go above and beyond the normal annoyances relationships encounter. Even that blonde waitress calling him a bad man? What for? Whatthehell does she know?

I think these reality shows go too far.

Ok, this dill needs to stop trying to be cool, he needs to get his ass kicked or do something embarrassing in front of everyone. How about a huge thank you dign for the chance to show the USA what a ##### I am. Put this guy on the street for a week, let him live like a homeless man, swallow his pride... He is too damn cocky. This show is an waste of time, this guy is too cocky (the entire act of "I am too cool for this and it is a huge inconvenience"... oh but wait, what did this guy do for a living before this??? lol). oh yeah he was a nothing. Brett Michaels had the right idea!
Anyway this is just my opinion, todd tv is a waste of time, and the producers are morons.... They choose the wrong guy, with a bad attitude, and they should let this guy fall dead on his conceided fat face... Screw this America!!!!, lets have some fun with this primadona pretty boy! Screw todd!!!! Lol

I agree with God. This guy is a tool. The show is boring and I have no idea what the producers were thinking picking that guy. He seems like such a jerk, I don't even want to see him change his ways. I don't want him to become a better person. Just let him stay a loser prick. He doesn't deserve to be a successful. There are a lot of people out there who deserve it more than he does. It's bad enough that most people with his attitude are successful. Why help this guy?
