All teams want to kill the team with a speed bump.

Everyone has to use a taxi. Will the taxis deliver them to the right place.

One team can speak to the locals.

One team ends up where they have to walk to the photo booth.

Team members must take a picture.

The background is beautiful at night,

Speed bump to light and hang a lot of lanterns.

Team Yale has a speed bump but, just by "coincidence" one of the detours involves speaking cantoneese, just what Henry needs!

Henry is killing this task. It was made for him if he remember who ordered what.

He is getting around the confusion by only taking half the orders at a time.

Exactly: "It was made for him." Isn't that production interference? They knew his language skills so why give him that advantage?

On the other hand it is set up ahead of time and this is at the very end of race, it would hard to plan that far ahead that you would have enough options to hand advantages to certain teams.

But as soon as they were cast, prodcuction knew that Henry spoke Mandarin so they could set up the advantage and simply hope it would help him. Doesn't cost them a thing if he had been eliminated ealier.

Turns out "The crabs are vicious killers".

Teams are almost good with the crabs but wanting to do them fast results in some of them being tried the wrong way.

Next task. smash all sorts of things while the other team member is handcuffed to a briefcase.

One team member broke his bat!

Note: Teams need to go to LAN KWAI FONG and find the clues for the numbers to open the briefcase which tells where they have to go next.

I like that task! It will take observation skills and smarts to figure out the lock combination.

You would think, but a couple of the teams just brute forced their way through.

One team member has pain when she tries to smash in CRTs.

She is going to have problems getting to the clue.

Signs, signs, everywhere are signs.

I think there is a song in that!

One team seems to be reading the signs right.

Read my mind.

And one team opens their briefcase.

Go to the pit-stop, only the first three teams will get to race for the million dollars.

Team Big Brother did a minor cheat, they had only two numbers and then tried every combination possible. I figure that means 60 combinations at max.

Two teams have the clue, now there are two remaining teams trying to find the same clue to open their briefcase.

"RE: Amazing Race 30 Feb. 21 Final Leg?"

Team walks right past the clue pointer out to them.

Another team member is so excited that they are in first place that she almost gets run over by a bus.

They get first place, they are going to San Francisco in business class.

It was funny how people were pointing Indy Car to the leg 1 sign but that they kept ignoring it thinking it was "l'Arc de Triomphe" in Paris!

That was worse than when a camera points at a clue.

I am surprised they slipped up like that.

The last team still did not figure out the clue.

In S.F. go to AT&T Park find the "Hey, kid" statue of Willie Mays.

I'm surprised that no one knew the number (or even thought of looking at the statue!) I'm a baseball fan and 660HR for Mays is certainly a number I remember.

"RE: Amazing Race 30 Feb. 21 Final Leg?"
Posted by Earl Colby Pottinger on 02-22-18 at 00:11 AM
I am not a sports fan, he would have to hit 666 for me to remember.

Did Big Brother boast this is their place? How many times have we seen a team fail at their home town.

Task: find the balls that give the number of home runs done by Willie.

They need to paddle kayaks to find the balls that are being thrown in the water.

Only one team knows the number before hand.

I may have heard wrong but I think Cody said that "America" was his place, not SF in particular.

I was surprised only one team thought to look up the number beforehand. Why would you assume that only the numbers you needed were in the water?

"RE: Amazing Race 30 Feb. 21 Final Leg?"
Posted by Earl Colby Pottinger on 02-21-18 at 11:14 PM
Other teams finally ask what the answer should be then find the right balls.

Teams must do a high ascend-er climb, then jump into a dark abyss for their next clue.

Lighted suit before you jump.

The clue is in symbols, I make out golden gate but not the last ones.

Golden Gate Fortune Cookie Factory.

I can't fault the teams for having trouble figuring out the clue - that didn't really look like a fortune cookie at all.

"Chinatown?"
Posted by michel2 on 02-21-18 at 11:24 PM
I certainly looks like production wants to help Yale as much as possible!

"RE: Chinatown?"
Posted by Earl Colby Pottinger on 02-21-18 at 11:27 PM
But they may be too far back. Unless one of the other teams make a mistake I do not see them catching up.

And the taxi gods smile on them!!!

Teams have the make 50 of them each.

The cookies need to be folded quickly while they are hot.

U.S.S. Hornet is the pit-stop, but first the teams must build a plane using 12 parts marked with symbols for the legs of the race, the parts are also colour coded just to make it more complex.

No one sees it so it's really going to come down to one lucky combination will win the million.

Not the team I wanted to win. He's okay, she wasn't.

I agree with that. In the past we had teams where you did not like both members, but lately it has been single individuals who I dislike the most.

The last time I disliked an entire team were the two saleswomen who pushed the firemen out of the way then got upset later the fireman did not let them go first.

So how upset do you think Yale is going to be when they see they had it right but then changed it?
