In Africa they need to get onto a bush plane, looks like a bunch point flying to Africa.

Planes leave in the order they are numbered, so there is a five minute gap between each flight.

And being in the last plane is not so bad if you have
a hot pilot.

Flashback to TAR season 1:

Must drive to the bushman village but also pickup a salt-lick along the way.

Why are some of the people picking up the small ones?

I can see they having to go back to get a large one.

Did it specifically say which one they had to get? I didn't see where they had to pick up any particular size or go to a particular pile.

You are right. No size was stated.

Must now build a grass hut. Who knows how to do that?

One of the bushmen is a dead-ringer for N!xau, the famous bushman from the movie, "The Gods Must Be Crazy."

(note... if any of you haven't seen that movie, definitely check it out - it's hilarious)

Why do teams enter this show not knowing how to drive stick-shift?

One team can not even start their car.

Drive to Ranger Headquarters.

Looks like the smaller salt-licks are ok to hand in.

And then a team brings a huge one.

Feed wild dogs or track down an animal using it's radio tag.

My friend just pointed out to me how lean the meat was that they are cutting for the dogs. You can't see much fat as they slice.

Bushmen are encouraging the last team in building the grass hut with dancing and chants.

Aly and Steve last to arrive, she's complaining that he's "too calm" and Phil is asking if he understands what she means ... "No."

Then he tells them it's a non-elimination leg and they'll have a speed bump in the next hour.

On to the second hour of tonight's schedule!

It is a non-elimination leg, but being two hours long I saw that coming.

Wish they'd do that every time there's a non-elim leg - have the next hour right away instead of dragging it out until next week!

Go to a local town and find their next clue in the newspaper. Did I mention the paper is in German?

U-Turn ahead ... I hate U-Turns, they rarely get used intelligently. On the bright side maybe it is near the start of the leg.

Really don't understand why Jelani/Jenny aren't using their Express Pass now to ensure they're ahead of the other teams and thus have no chance of being U-Turned.

Neither do I, they don't see the other teams so they don't know where they are in the order of teams.

But that seems to be a common fault of holders of the Express Pass that they hold onto it too long.

One team member is going the wrong way to find his box.

He is driving another team member nuts.

You don't ski down, you toboggan down.

Why take the chance? They said this is the last leg to use it on ... make sure they jump ahead of the pack and build up a lead.

Don't think it'll make a difference at this point in time - even if they do get U-Turned, they'll still be far ahead of Aly and Steve with Steve getting so far off track looking for the package.

Okay one member drops a box from a plane, the other member must find the box and the first member needs to then sky-dive. Then both members must meet at the top of a hill to get the next clue.
