"Moderator Comments - Please Read"

You'll notice a number of locked threads this morning on the forums. This is a threaded community, which means that we prefer posters to join existing discussions instead of starting new threads about the same thing. In most cases, the locks are because we don't need 10 new threads discussing Randal being a jerk and 10 new threads saying that he isn't. Join an existing discussion before starting a new thread about something already being discussed.

Our Community Guidelines clearly prohibit bashing other posters and racist speech. A number of the more inflammatory discussions have been locked. The posters who have violated the guidelines will be dealt with - and that could include the termination of your right to post here.

A list of warnings and bans is being put together. Want to add your name to the list? Just keep violating the guidelines and keep starting duplicate threads.

REPLY button good.
POST button bad.

And trust me folks, you don't have to say you're a new poster when you start the 100th new thread complaining about Randall - we can figure it out on our own.

If a thread has been locked, do not start a new thread to post your comments about the locked topic. That is a violation of our community guidelines.

There are PLENTY of open discussions on Randall, his decision when asked whether Rebecca to be hired, etc. Starting a new thread will get that thread locked...and can get your account inactivated.

Back to the top, since there are still way too many duplicate topics being started.

Posting the same message more than once is a violation of the guidelines, as is reposting information from a locked thread.

So...if you've posted a message as a reply to a thread, do not start another thread with the exact same information.

Show some courtesy for your fellow posters by not repeating yourself. Say what you want to say once. If there's already a discussion going about a topic, say it within that discussion instead of starting another thread about it.

Folks, posting the same thing over and over in multiple threads is a violation. Say it once, then move on.
