I was wondering about this. I'd been planning to give the show another chance with the change. I hope it makes a positive difference.

Great interview!
Love it, love her!
Really excited about the new season.
I stopped watching the show when it changed formats, now I'll make a point to watch again, I missed Trading Spaces.

She does discuss what happened when she left and what changed that she would even come back.

There were a bunch of industry rumors that she made a sex tape with new hubby and it was about to go internet, right about the time she got canned. I thought it was kind of funny.

Maybe that's what she meant about rumors, she did say the fans didn't seem to care.

I LOVE Doug! So glad he is back. She doesn't say anything about Vern, he was another favorite.
I can't wait to see what insane new things Hildi comes up with.
It's like having an old friend come back.

Oh shoot, I'm just going to go set the DVR now, so I don't miss it.

I hate Vern's new show. It is too sincere, too careful, too PC. It is much more fun to watch people who don't deserve anything have billions of fake flowers glued to their bathroom walls by Hildi.
