okay, yada yada yada for those who aren't on east coast time and are compulsively checking this before the show comes on in their time zone and yet still do not want to know who actually, factually makes it to the final 3

As I type this, we're at a commerical and we don't know yet. I still will have a hard time believing any of them. JD, Suzie and..........MIG!!!!!

I really thought MiG pulled his @ss out of the fire with his performance and then at the end he starts HOPPING LIKE A LITTLE GIRL AND RUINED IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oooh, Tim is padding, agonizing, yada yada yada SPILL IT TIM!

Man! He's still going on!!!!!!!!!!!!! yeah yeah yeah right for INXS

WHEW! JD IS IN!!!!!

More torture for MiG & Suzie........

SUZIE IS OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, I guess I can believe it. She was in the B3 6 out of 11 times! And MiG really nailed it except for the hopping part.

She's real classy in defeat. What a great girl!

ps - rockstar in a honda civic????????? WTF????????

Yeah, I would have liked to hear Money again.
The song didn't sound right acoustically, and he didn't have his Bedazzled megaphone...

JD's fans really split the vote on that one. Alot of the fans wanted to hear "Money" again. But JD's cousin was telling everyone that his mom and sister said JD wanted to do "Pretty Vegas". So half the fans were voting for "Money" because they wanted it. And the other half of the fans were voting for "Pretty Vegas" because it is what he wanted. Meanwhile all the Marty fans voted for "Trees" and he won it.

You and me both.....I can't stand that song.

I will miss Suzie-I liked her alot-she has a really good voice. Of the three that are left, I hope Marty wins it. JD is a legend in his own mind and MiG is too pop artsy for my taste-like a cartoon, almost.

At least they can get it in the environmentally friendly hybrid. Better for the trees...

I am bummed that Sweet Suzie is out, but it really had to happen that way. The winner will be one of Marty and JD, and as much as the band might have wanted to keep Suzie, they couldn't risk cutting Mig who a) has had SOOOOO many votes these many weeks and b) pulls in a whole overseas demographic.

Did you notice that Mig total ripped his pants when he did that final bend? The leather ripped right across both knees. Not too surprising, as the pants were tight enough to show his religion....

Agreed as far as Susie, I think she was a consumate professional. Plus she knows she has a career started.

As far as MiG hopping at the end, I'm thinking he was 1.excited to finally be singing, and 2.excited that he completely nailed that song.

I know he was hopping because he was excited, I mean he ruined it by being excited in a cheerleader way instead of a rockstar way - throw something, break something, pump your fist, dive into the crowd, pound the stage

but COME ON!!!! Leap up and bend your knees back??????

MiG absolutely rocked the house tonight! He looked like a rocker and sang like one too. IMO his performance tonight was his best.

I love Marty and enjoy all of his performances. He is so talented and unique that he has gained a new fan in me with INXS or his own band. I will definitely seek him out and buy his music.

JD has had some great performances in the last few weeks and I can see his voice/stage persona fitting in the best with INXS. I am not a big JD fan but I believe he will be chosen to front the band. Having said that I sure hope that he does indeed completely floor me when the new album is released.

Suzie has grown so much in this process and I am glad that I got to watch that growth. I loved her version of the INXS song and think that she has proven that she too can rock. I was so impressed with her graceful exit and I hope that something good comes out of this for her.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...
*breath*...OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well that makes me sad! *sticks bottom lip out as far as possible*

Damn it! I knew she wouldn't win. There were too many who were against the idea of a female lead for the band, so I wasn't foolin myself, but C'MON!!! She did good enough throughout the competition to warrent a spot in the damn finale! She only has the best damn voice of them all!!!...*makes really mad face*

....ok....I got it outta my system!

Here's to Suzie! I hope she goes on to great things now that it's done! I'd buy her CD in a heart beat!

As for the final 3...I gotta say, i'm kinda freaked at their choices!
I'm not bashing anyone. They're all good at doin their thing, but as far as leading INXS...out of Mig, marty, and JD...JD is the only one in my eyes that has a shot in hell of doing the band justice....and even then...there's something about him that I don't like!

JD sounded pretty decent with "By my side" tonight, but I really wish he wouldn't push out that deep, Elvis-esque vibrato! It's kind of annoying!

Also...was I smokin somethin, or did Mig really mess up the lyrics near the end of "What you need"? Sure sounded like it to me!

Man! I was so nervous for Mig tonight!! He could have really blown it his first time out. And after INXS put even MORE pressure on him by saying that the other two hit it out of the park! That he was able to perform under all that I think says a lot about him. I thought he really nailed it tonight. And even though I've come to believe he is a long shot, if he keeps pulling out performances like that, he could really give the other two a run for their money. He did have a lot of nervous energy though and he was a bit spastic, but it was still awesome.

You're so right about JD's Elvis-esque vibrato. It looked like he was giving it a rest during last night's performance, but it was back with a vengeance tonight. It bugs me too, but I am finally able to see that he belongs in the top three. I just really hope he doesn't win. Oh and WHY does he keep saying that he wants to be with this band for the next 20 or 30 years?? Doesn't he know these guys will all be 80 by then? If this gig lasts two years for any of these rockers, that would be a miracle!

That brings me to my boy Marty!! I'm so glad he was Number 1. He deserved it and he is my pick for sure. I don't think we need to save him from this. Winning this competition will be a step up from singing in an obscure band. It will also be great experience. When he leaves in a year or two to start his own band (or rejoin his old one,) he will have a much bigger following. So he can only win.

Suzie was awesome and I will miss hearing her strong and beautiful voice. But the guys made the right choice to let her go now. I wish her luck.

Oh please. Have you ever heard of hyperbole? I guess you are mad at him for saying they've been at the mansion for a "thousand" weeks? But I guess it's okay for Jordis to say a thousand weeks, huh?

It's a colorful way of saying, "I'm not in this as a career boost or a publicity stunt or for the exposure I'm doing this because I want to be partners with you."

It sounds like you have one set of standards for JD, and another set for everyone else. Everything he does is either annoying, manipulative or calcuated. If you are going to judge him, use the same yardstick for everyone.

MiG can be spastic and still be awesome.

Marty can wave his hands around like the mad conductor and that doesn't bother you.

And as far as the evil terrible things that he does, how about:

Marty using this for a career boost, which is what it sounds like you are saying in "when he leaves for a year or two."

Marty can make a point to say "I'm the only one who has a vision for the musical direction of his band" ala JD's "I'm the only who hasn't had to learn INXS songs" comment.

Suzie can specifically choose not to help the guys with advice on performing for survival.

And why aren't those people evil???? Oh yeah, because this is a competition that they are trying to win.

I thought it was interesting when Marty broke the guitar. Marty fans have been putting down JD for using props. Wasn't the guitar a prop?

I know I see the world thru JD-colored glasses but I saw that as just another example of the JDification of Marty.

He has been throwing in asides/talking to the audiences during songs.

He has made competitive comments.

He has leaned into/sung directly to the audience.

In addition to JD using props, JD also has thrown/kicked/smashed mics and stands for weeks. Then Marty smashes his guitar.

And YOU'RE going to give ME an "Oh, please???" You have got to be joking! Of course he's here for a career boost and exposure. THEY ALL ARE! That's what the show is for.

And, yes, as a matter of fact, I have heard of hyperbole. I know what he meant. My point is that whoever wins this competition is not, IMO, going to be with these guys long term. I believe that whoever wins, whether it is Marty, Mig or JD, will be lucky if this lasts two years. I see one CD tops, if that. It's like the Bachelor. If you pick someone in this unrealistic manner, it may look good for a little while, but in the end, it just won't work out for the long haul. But that is just MY OPINION and I don't expect you to agree with me. You never do.

I'm not sure why you can't just accept that some people don't like JD's voice or his style. I know you love it, and that's great. I love Marty and Mig, but I can understand if other people have different tastes. It happens.

If you're waiting for everyone to love JD, you're going to be waiting a long time. But I never said he was evil, manipulative, or calculated. I'm not sure where you're getting that, but it is certainly not from any of my posts. I just plain don't like him on stage or for this band and my comments have been about that and NOTHING more. I don't know him, so I can't make judgments about whether or not he is a good guy and I haven't.

So ease up a little, tiger. It's just reality tv!

Ditton Queen Bee !
I really like Marty & Mig and of course want one of them to win. I don't like J.D. and wouldn't like to see him win. My reason is that for whatever reason, he just does not do it for me. He doesn't strike any cord in me that makes me want to see him again. I don't like his brand of stage action. I don't care for someone that goes to the front lines of an audience and gives them the old eye ---- and I especially hate the awkward way his legs move when he walks onstage sometimes. Like his feet point in opposite directions. Don't like the overly pouting lips when he thinks a camera is own him. To me if your sexy, you just are, you don't have to pose. I also don't care for the Elvis type thing he does with his voice.
The problem is that if we say these things people always want to say.....that we are being unfair, or that we always end up talking about J.D. The truth is that it is human nature to talk more about things that irritate us. It DOESN'T mean that we will buy music by those that irritate us.
When it comes down to it there are many that don't care for Marty or Mig too and hey, they have there opinions. That is what makes the world go round. We are all different and have our preferences.

You're right; sorry I got carried away. I lumped comments others have made in with yours when I responded.

I don't expect everyone to love him. I can't and don't argue with taste and have said that a number of times. I've never tried to convince someone to like his voice or think he's sexy.

I have tried to convince people that they are judging him unfairly. As a fan, it seems like that happens a lot, so I get defensive. But you aren't one to do that. You actually do just comment on taste things. Again, I shouldn't have put a such a broad response to what you said. He just has that affect on me.

Yeah, I'm with you! Except that I really thought INXS would defy the "wisdom" of the voters and go with a female lead, especially since they said repeatedly that she has the best voice there. They kept saying they were open to a female lead singer, but the public was not so imaginative. Yeah, I know, it could have just been a bunch of P.C. hooey. Whatever, dudes. They can do a lot with voices in the studio these days, so someone who can actually sing is besides the point, apparently. Yeah. I'm a little cranky.

Well, I like all the top 4, but JD, Marty, and Mig were my favorites from the beginning. Having said that, I think, based on tonights performances only, MiG was, BY FAR the weakest of the bottom three. He was overly hyperactive. His voice was shaky, at best, and he jumped around so much that he split his pants in two places, that I could see. Yikes.

I understand why they kept him for the finale though. Obviously, he has quite a large fan base, and as good as Suzie became, she was in the bottom 3 six times. Why would INXS want to tick off the audience by eliminating Mig tonight, when they can just eliminate him next week.

JD and Marty have risen quickly to the top. I'd be happy with either of them winning, although, I think JD really is the best choice for INXS.

I wasn't suprised at all when Brooke announced a Rock Star tour. Heck, I'd probably rather see that than the INXS tour. I know Mark Burnett has them all bound by contract, but I wonder how long he has control over them.

pps - Marty gets the encore AND survives B3?

I voted for about 15 minutes for JD, 1st for top 1 and then for the encore. Then website got locked up. Gave up. Figured he'd split votes between the encore and top 1 anyway, so decided it wasn't worth it (and my honey ALREADY thinks I'm crazy to be so absorbed.)

So how did Marty suddenly generate all these votes for all of the above??? Maybe former Jordis fans threw their votes his way becuz they were in love??

Anyone wanna start a conspiracy theory??????

Don't really believe it but being rational isn't fun.

I have heard that the Marty fans have been changing computer clocks and they have been voting more than the 4 hours. They just keep changing time zones. Also it has been said that they have a program going that automatically votes. Don't know if that one is true. But the Marty fans got scared after he ended up in the bottom 3 that week.

Could be a 'maybe' for the computer clocks, but as for the automatic voting, the only program I've used can NOT be used with the 'coded' type voting as used by RSINXS. However, who is to say that his fans don't just keep voting!

"RE: 9/14 I can't believe X didn't make it to the final 3!"
Posted by Loree on 09-15-05 at 01:18 PM
I don't understand how they can use a code for that either.

But the clock thing was something they picked up from MiG fans. MiG's fans had been doing that so they could vote earlier than when it hit their time zones since the Aussie's get the show later. So MiG's voters were voting for several hours all along. Then Marty's fans started doing it too.

"RE: Voting"
Posted by Loree on 09-16-05 at 09:10 AM
I have no idea. I'm sure if they wanted to know they could look. But maybe they don't care. When it comes down to it the voting system doesn't really show how many fans a rocker has. It is just some fans are more dedicated to staying up half the night voting. But each fan only buys one CD and one concert ticket. I think they just wanted an opinion of what the audience thought and a way to get the fans involved. But I think once it got down to about the final 5 or 6 it didn't really matter anymore where they ranked. INXS keep saying it is now their opinion of who is Roit fer their band: INXS.

I agree the car was a lame choice.

But *very* happy to see that MiG totally rocked out tonight's INXS song -- his performance was by far the best INXS-sung song of the entire competition.

And so he got a little overexcited at the end and jumped around -- he was probably scared sh!tless to be in the bottom three finally this close to the end and then he totally nailed the song. Go MiG, go.

Still think JD is the front runner, but *only* because of Pretty Vegas. I'll be curious to see how the finale goes next week because if MiG pulls out performances that sound like tonight's, he definitely may be the rabbit out of the hat at the end again. I was very pleasantly surprised at his INXS rendition --- it sounded the most true to form of anyone yet.

I can't really see next week making any difference. They will have the finale as planned and go through the motions and have the guys entertain the crowd and probably talk up the tour; but I think INXS already knows who they want to front the band.

Wow...I really disagree with all the MiG-love.
In order to not be distracted by all his activity, I listened with my eyes covered...I thought he sounded squeaky, like an excited mouse. I'll be VERY surprised if he wins this. Then again, I actually thought Suzie had a chance.

Though I respect your opinion Shanana, I totally disagree. I think MiG was better then Suzie tonight I didn't get into his performance at all. I find his vocals to be paper thin. I am really surprised that everyone thinks he did so well.

Maybe it was when he ripped his shirt that sealed the deal? Or maybe it was the pants?

BTW, I (unfortunately) spotted the camel toe on one of the first shots of Mig. Had my wife either horrified or hysterical, can't tell which.

LOL -- then we'll have to disagree, Cheesy --- I thought it was no contest last night! I'm actually very surprised to see people still disliking MiG after that performance -- if I had my eyes closed, I would have seen M. Hutchens all over again (at least the closest thing to it so far). After finally getting his chance to sing INXS, I was upset that we haven't had the opportunity to see this a few previous times. However, I still think that may hurt him in the end -- his lack of INXS singing time, whether it's great or not.

But I didn't need the ripped shirt thing at all -- actually found that part a bit "staged" and unnecessary. I'm wondering if all the MiG "un-love" is coming mostly out of his stage performance, which I did find a little manic, but understandable, since he was probably pretty nervous.

I noticed the look on Tim's face when MiG did the ripped shirt thing. I don't think Tim was very impressed. He had this look like that was just "so MiG".

Well once again Brooke's backside was the star of the show....those jeans were hella fine and though her legs are a wee bit thin for me..her back is on fire...Yeah white guys like back also

Final 3:

Hmmm still not sure who the sunglass crew will pick. I think the wiser choice and band choice is Marty...but J.D. may be the choice from what they are feeling from the fans and mgmt..And don't think they arn't listening to others inside the INXS family.

I kind of slammed Suzie in another thread..and still do believe she is a wanna be "Rock Star" type and could never in reality be that. Her talent is marginal and her look is from like 1989..what was with those soccer mom jeans and that awful jacket? Wish her the best and sorry to her fans if my comments offend..not my intent.

Mig could still win this and just may do that...He, I feel could be molded more than Marty and J.D. So that may work to his advantage.

Gary Beers is the coolest cat left in INXS and I think he misses Michael even more than the rest..He seems under impressed with this whole competition and truly knows in his heart that the best INXS is behind them.

Looking forward to the finale and think CBS should make it 2 hours and bring back all the contestants for a little chit chat after announcing the "bands choice" I think we all would love to see them all on stage and hear what their plans are now that is over.

I did hear a rumor they have plans for another show...Not sure what band or if it will be another lead singer search or what. Maybe it will be INXS again after the album and tour flop miserably..hehe

Peace and Love to All!

Michael...

Suzie had to go. The finale is more interesting with the three we have. If it was Suzie and two others. We would think it was a two man contest. Now it's three and could really be up for grabs.

JD should win. He is the most INXs. All INXs has to do is release pretty Vegas. It will sell many copies and help the cd go. If INXs doesn't like JD after that they can always cut him lose and get s new singer. The new INXs cd would sell best with JD as singer.

Ok, I like Trees and Pretty Vegas, but can we NOT hear it every night, please?

JD was cheesy with doing PV unplugged. He only did it because INXS or Dave mentioned it was a true test of a song (in relation to Trees). Cheesy dude.

The bottom three were no surprise. Suzie deserved the boot.

Mig surprisingly sounded great. What You Need was very suited for his voice & he showed he can do INXS music.

JD did well with By My Side. He's so intense.

Suzie kind of sucked. It was flat and uninspiring. And if she says "come on" to the crowd one more time...oh wait, she won't, she was booted! Yay!

I'm so jazzed about the finale show. I think these three will rock.

I know! I said the same thing! I don't mind hearing the songs, but can't we hear them sing something else?

When JD started his acoustic version of PV, I looked at DF and said, "he had to have worked on that with Marty." The two of them seemed quite bonded on last night's show. Cheesy? Perhaps. But INXS liked Marty doing acoustic stuff, why not give it a shot. Plus! it gave us a little switch up on a song that we keep seeing him perform over and over and over and over again. I liked it. And he friggin nailed By My Side.

Marty seemed genuinely happy to be there and determined to win. (I don't know why.) I'm glad he got the top spot with voting. Because...

It was good to hear MiG do INXS. He kicked ass and totally deserves to be there in the finale. It's a shame that somebody had to be booted. These shows always make me feel sorry for the bootees. But it should have been Suzie and it was. Did I still tear up? Of course. She's gained lots of fans and attention. She'll be fine.

All this being said, I will not say who I want to see win. I have my thoughts but if I speak them, I will jinx the boys.

I agree about hearing those 2 songs over and over. I like them both, they are catchy and easy to sing, but enough already!

I was a little disappointed with JD's version of By My Side. I love that song, and would have liked to hear him put more power into the chorus. I'll have to listen to it again, but he seemed out of breath.

I thought MiG did great. Susie too, but there was no way any of the guys were going, so she had to.

LAST EDITED ON 09-15-05 AT 10:24 AM (EST)

Hmmm, I watched Mig's performance again. I guess maybe Mig may be a better singer in terms of range, I really don't know that much about singing. Everyone says Celine and Mariah are so great because of their range, but frankly, I am not an expert on singing. What I am an expert on, like everyone else, is what "sounds" good. The tone of J.D.'s voice is much much better than Mig's regardless of whether J.D. can elevate his voice up 25 octives like Mig. Tell me one INXS song that requires a voice that can reach Robert Plant like octives? The tone of Mig's voice is just not good with INXS in my opinion. J.D.'s tone remains pretty constant, but when Mig gets excited, he goes into this higher octive vocal that just makes me cringe as if he was running his fingernails over a chalkboard. If he stays grounded and sings more controlled, its O.K., but that is not really his style. As for his stage performance, its just too cheerlearderish for me. I don't know, as Fox news says, I report, you decide.

agree with other posters that JD went back to his Elvis impersonation when he sang By My Side with that low voice which is not very endearing.

The decision next week will depend on what INXS wants at this stage in their life and career. Do they want to reinvent themselves or just sing their old hits for another few years with maybe one or two new songs. If its the former then Marty will be their choice, and if its the latter than JD will win. Mig did well last night but I cant see him winning it.

Unfortunately I believe INXS will go for the latter and pick JD.

If JD wins, he must improve his communication skills - I thought the same thing when he said "I went to sing with you for the next 20 or 30 years" - does he know how old they will be at that time!! The guy always says these sappy corny lines that are not believable - just like the word to his song pretty vegas - the song has a nice pop/INXS sound but the words are a little cheesy .... .

It might seem like I am knocking JD, however, I am actually warming up to him as his performance on Tuesday was excellent.

Yes, why does MiG do that? I swear in the song "US" when they are all on stage that MiG was skipping. You can see him in the shot behind/beside Kirk. And he is skipping like a little girl. That and the twirling around going "Wheeee" in the photo shoot. Is this a RockStar?

Well, why does JD keep waving his hand around in that twitchy, creepy way, and then gesture towards his crotch?

" Well, why does JD keep waving his hand around in that twitchy, creepy way, and then gesture towards his crotch?"

I don't think recall a direct hand twitch-crotch combo gesture. Yes, he does the hand twitch. Some people hate it but I honestly think that the people that do already hate him and would hate anything he does.

Anyway, the hand twitching and Marty's conductor arms are both odd but ARE rock. Many musicians/singers do funny looking things when they're into the music. If you watched still frames of almost any performance you'd fine weird looking faces, gestures, etc.

MiG, in contrast, does things that would look fine ON THE SIDELINES OF A HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL GAME. Can you all please just get that? It's not that anybody hates his gestures or his voice or think he has not talent, it's that he does not act or sound like a ROCKSTAR.

I agree completely, except that I think Mig does look (and act)like a rock star, the only problem is it is a rock star from the early 70's and one that should be singing tunes by the Monkeey's to teenage girls.

I think MiG totally looks and acts like a rock star too. I don't understand all the criticism of his stage moves -- he actually HAS stage moves, unlike some of the others. I'm starting to wonder if some folks have even been to a rock show --- lol --- at least the ones I've gone to, they spin around, jump, wave their arms, run around the stage -- I've seen all that and more. Maybe a little Steven Tyler, anyone? I think MiG looks damn cool on stage, although he can be a bit maniacal at moments, but I think that's just a little overenthusiasm of the moment. He knows when to bring it back and tone it down as well in his performances.

He also does have more of a '70s rock star appearance, but I think that's kind of cool, being that INXS is an older band anyway.

Don't take this as JD bashing, Lisa, but I can't stand when JD jumps up & down, like he's on a pogo stick. It drives me insane.

I remember several weeks ago they had a clinic where they watched videos of their performances to see how they moved around on stage. They should do that clinic again. All 3 of them still need work.

I don't consider that JD bashing. You don't like his jumping around - I dig it. That's a prefernce thing. Now, if you said he was a bad person or everything he does is stupid, that's different.

It does seem to get the crowd into it. THAT is a good idea though, about them re-doing the clinic. I read in Marty's blog that he still works with the vocal coach, I wonder if they still do anything else.

And since we're talking about JD (it does seem the conversation always comes back to him, doesn't it?) I've noticed that he seems totally focused on the live crowd (hopping, swooning chicks, etc.) where many others focus on the camera in addition to the audience.

"the decision"
Posted by Loree on 09-15-05 at 11:04 AM
When INXS decides who to boot they usually go backstage to talk. The longest they have ever taken was 45 minutes the night they booted Ty. Some nights they know right away and don't even leave their perch. I hear they decided real quick the night they booted Jordis. They knew she was going that night the minute she was in the bottom 3.

Lastnight they went backstage for 35 minutes. It was not a quick decision. And they let JD go back over to Marty very quickly after they returned. So I think the big decision for them was between Suzie and MiG. It doesn't sound like it was a quick decision for them. So if I was MiG I would not be feeling too confident about next week.

With Marty we have no idea what they think. He was safe and they had no chance to boot him.

Thanks for the insight, Loree.

I'm really not sure how INXS feels about Marty. I think they like him when he does INXS stuff, but they know Marty wants to go in a more grunge direction with new songs. I think INXS is wise enough to see a potential clash in ideas.

Marty: Will want to take them in a new direction, may cause tension right away.

JD: Will give lots of new material suited for their current style. Has his own set of issues, not sure if it would effect the band short-term, but possibly more long term.

Mig: Will be their dog & pony boy. Won't add a whole lot creatively that INXS doesn't already have, but will be fun for audiences to watch & will bring harmony to the band.

Good analysis! I agree...and the band seems to stress 'family' and 'harmony' quite a lot.

I see JD as the dog and pony man too .... he will be no different than Mig. Look at him when he went into the recording studio and ^&^*& up - his response was that he was looking for INXS to give him direction. He is too much awed by them to cause any trouble.

"Watching INXS"
Posted by Loree on 09-15-05 at 01:28 PM
At the taping someone that was standing by the rocker box had a clear view to INXS. They looked over at them several times during JD's performance of his encore and By My Side. They said INXS are DEFINITELY feeling the JD love. Kirk is the most open with his JD boy crush, followed by Jon and Tim. Garry Gary has channeled his Jordis love to JD as he gave JD moo cow eyes several times. EvenAndrew - who is the hardest one to read - nodded his head several times and moved with the music (but still no smiley/happy expression for any of the rockers from him.)

That's what I've been curious about! I have no doubt Kirk is a huge JD fan, but I wondered about the rest of them.

I *heart* Kirk. Watching him sing along with Marty & JD's songs was funny.

That is how Garry Gary has always been described when he looked at Jordis. He had the moo cow eyes. They said he was very upset the night they booted her.

But now he seems to be watching JD and falling under his spell. Garry Gary especially looked that way when JD sang "Mystify" the other week. But I think JD's version is so hauntingly like Michael's that it must give them shivers at times.
