Let the weekly Marie-bashing festivities commence.

We're in Dubai of the United Arab Emirates, starting from the Abu Dhabi race track.

Leo and Jamal are first to leave. They will have to use the Viking coins that were picked up earlier in the season and find Ford Explorers, use the coins to figure out the code to unlock the Explorers. Once in, drive themselves to a place where they'll drive sand dune buggys.

Caution, U-turns ahead.

Tim/Marie say they'll use the express pass this episode as they're worried about becoming a target. A target? No, stop, really...

Teams get one dollar for this leg. How fitting, in one of the richest places on Earth, the U.A.E. ...

Nicky and Kim take a while to figure out that a 6 can be read as a 9 on the coin, then say they're stressed out worrying about the U-turn and also the speed bump.

Route task. Follow flags onto the desert while driving a dune buggy. Once they get to the clue box, they are to drive to the Al Ain Oasis. Oh look, there are some big-azz camels out there (and I'm talking about real, live ones).

Leo and Jamal arrive first. A couple of teams are spinning their wheels in the sand, quickly getting bogged down - in particular, Nicky and Kim. They're completely stuck as we go to commercial - they're doing what drivers should never, ever do; gun the wheels while stuck as they're just digging themselves deeper and deeper into the sand.

Actually, that was Nicole and Travis who said that. Tim and Marie used their express pass a long time ago. Nicole and Travis had to use it in this leg or lose it, and they used it at the Detour . . . which is part of why they won the leg (Tim and Marie also won the leg where they used their express pass).

Well, that puzzle seemed really easy.

Now the clutch is gone, and the girls have to switch out to a new vehicle as they burned out the previous one.

Now at Al Ain Oasis. Teams find trees where locals rappel up to the top to pluck out clues.

Detour - Wedding Guests (follow recipe and prepare a platter of food and serve to wedding guests if approved) or Beauty Contest (identify a prize winning camel and dress it up in finery).

Double U-Turn! Nicole and Travis decide to U-Turn Jamal and Leo because they lied to their faces earlier in the game.

The camel kicks Tim. Wrong person, dude. Marie is the one you want to kick. After dressing up their camel, Tim and Marie get rejected by the panel of judges.

Roadblock: Ride the Rapids. {I'd love to do this, being a former kayak instructor} Teams are to navigate a rubber raft through a course of rapids and as they pass through, are to try and snare flags hanging a few feet up.

Tim and Marie bring their camel out for a second judging ... and they get the clue.

Jason and Amy's camel rolls over and gets all dirty, so they'll have to go back and clean it up.

Leo and Jamal decide to switch from Wedding Guests to Beauty Contest. One of them promptly get kicked by their camel.

Nicole and Travis are first after the Roadblock and they are to drive through a winding route to the pit stop at Jebel Hafeet.

Leo and Jamal just found out they've been U-turned, and profess that they have no idea why they'd be U-turned. Heh.

Tim and Marie for some reason decided to run through the streets while other teams took a cab. It's taking them longer then they thought and they're also lost...

This is almost as funny as Bingo night.

I honestly don't think I could judge camel beauty.

I watched heifer judging once. The MC kept talking about "Look at this one's legs" and "See how this one's back curves just so", but I could never figure out what he was talking about.

Nicole and Travis navigate the course and finish first at the pit stop. They win their choice of any vehicle from Ford's fleet with an eco boost.

Leo and Jamal are back doing the Wedding Guest part that they abandoned earlier to switch to the other detour.

Marie and Tim decide to U-turn Nicky and Kim as punishment for the airport spat they had back in Episode 3.

Nicky and Kim arrive at the Beauty Contest part, and after a few minutes, decide to switch over to the Wedding Guests one where they find Leo and Jamal still slaving away in their kitchen.

Ally and Ashley are doing the Beauty Contest and they get the clue their first appearance in front of the judges.

Jason is now doing the raft and completes quickly. Tim does the raft and it's not long before he and the guide get stuck on top of a rock.

Leo and Jamal are now serving their food and they get the clue.

Tim jumps to get a flag and lands on his back in the raft. Marie says "Ha, he almost died." I wouldn't put it past her to plot his death right there on the rapids and collect on the insurance money.

Nicky and Kim serves their food and get their next clue. They're currently in last place and just found out they've been U-turned and will have to do the Beauty Contest after all.

Jason and Amy are second at the pit stop.

Nicky and Kim get their clue after presenting the camel to the judges.

Ally and Ashley are talking an awful lot about how difficult it is to navigate with the street lights system and roundabouts being different from what they're used to. Cut to commercial - could they be the ones to get eliminated because they got lost?

Ally and Ashley are still driving around, completely lost. They pull over to ask a local for directions.

Tim and Marie finish in third at the pit stop.

Leo and Jamal arrive at the rapids and Jamal goes out into the raft. Soon after, a grumpy Ally/Ashley arrive at the rapids and Ashley is the one going out.

Nicky and Kim are doing the speed bump now. They have to cross a wave generator with six-foot waves and get to the other side and climb a ladder. They get swept away by the waves their first try at climbing up the ladder. They eventually make it up.

Leo and Jamal are fourth at the pit stop.

Ally and Ashley are fifth, arriving while L and J are still on the mat with Phil.

Nicky and Kim are the last to arrive. After two previous times saved by a non-elim and a to-be-continued, they're eliminated from the race this time.

And the U-Turn claims another team.

Having to also do a speed bump didn't help, either. No way to tell if they'd have been safe or out if they could have avoided the speed bump.

True. Without the U-Turn they wouldn't have run into Leo & Jamal and gotten to the Speed Bump ahead of lost Ally & Ashley, but then Kim had problems and the Speed Bump took some extra time. I do think they've gotten the knack of designing Speed Bumps to be just minor bumps in the race, though, and they are a much preferable race feature than the old bits of making them go out begging and such.

I do think the girls did the speed bump wrong.

If they had timed the wave and BOTH jumped in right after it passed they would had had a good chance of swimming across and climbing the ladder before the next wave came.

Instead, they wasted a lot of time before they jumped in.

Next week: Rams are butting heads. We're in Indonesia. Nicole and Travis seem to be having a difficult time with their task.
