Ok - I got the bad news from my doc on Monday that I had to give up chocolate. I would rather be celebate than give up chocolate. It has been 48 hours and it is literally killing me. I have sucked on about 1000 jolly ranchers and its not working. Woooo is Meeee

Snif snif - I'm allergic to nuts and as you know - got really sick from some meds on Sunday. Anyway - when I talked to my regular Dr on Monday he told me to give up Chocolate completely. I have been having problems snif snif. Ok my best Christmas gift was a 5 lb hershey bar. snif snif - I'm so upset I need chocolate - snif snif.

My 10 year old nephew is deathly allergic to peanuts so he has to read wrappers very carefully and there is a lot of chocolate he can't eat because they make the plain chocolate in the same machines and can come in contact with trace elements of the peanuts. What is scary is the things that may have come in contact with nuts or peanuts or whatever someone is allergic to and it wasn't marked.

I feel bad for you Mich, I am fortunate and not allergic to anything except tetanus shots, and lets face it, who wants one of those anyway?

Find a pure chocolate candy and see if it causes problems to you. If you have eaten it all your life, chocolate by itself is probably not your problem.

I wish I could take this punishment for you! I love chocolate, but have gone completly off it since I got pregnant. Can't even stand to eat a chocolate chip.

Weird. I guess it works in the opposite direction as well. I was blase about chocolate pre-pregnancy and now I desire melted chocolate on fresh bread. (which I have yet breakdown and make, let alone eat.) Although, I may dust of the old fondue and make some this weekend.
