I think Phil's recap- spoiled the ending: Speaking of Brendon and Rachel, he said: When it mattered they always came through."

All others had negative endings: stumbled into the F4, clashed, had marriage touble despite race success.

Who would you want to see win?

I think all 4 teams are pretty bad with Ralph and Vanessa being the least offensive right now. Her injury has soften her but a few weeks ago that team was the worse.

I do have a problem coming to grips with the fact that Rachel could win two different reality shows but BB was fixed so it isn't as if she earned it.

Um, no one, right now I'm anyone but Brechel, but I've been pretty sure they will win for a long time now, but I want to live in denial for as long as possible.

I like how they tried to incorporate a bit more of the surroundings in this season - there was the enjoying of the safari scene in Africa, the scenery of the mountain castles in Bavaria and now this moment where all of the teams took a moment to take in the Hiroshima memorials. Nice touch and I hope they continue to expand on this for future seasons.

Ow. Vanessa's a long way from being in my favorite Racers (three digits), but this isn't the way I wanted that team to go out. I know I wanted karma to come after them, but I was thinking they'd say something offensive to a local and get bad directions in exchange. This is just the random luck of a turned ankle plus exactly the right Roadblock at the wrong time.

Ralph really looks like a decent guy here and yes, Vanessa is really redeeming herself in a major way with her non-complaining and insistence in keeping on trying even though it's obvious her ankle is in terrible shape.

But she lost some of that praise with her fussing over the eyelashes...

I had a good laugh at seeing Brenchel's taxi driver after they finished the sushi. He was wearing white gloves and a face mask, and in my mind it was because he was terrified of catching something from Rachel...

Lol! Taxi drivers generally wear white gloves in Japan and you do see the face masks on anyone who has a cold or flu, but so appropriate for anyone in the vicinity of Rachel.

Apparently enough to be heard...

No one's out of this yet, though. There are still tasks ahead and traffic could be the wild card. I just find it funny that the Border Patrol is having the most trouble finding their way inside the border.

Well, we knew it wouldn't be Brendan and Rachel who messed up, because the preview showed them arguing, which is a dead giveaway it wasn't them.

Art and JJ are having trouble on the roadblock, so I'm hoping Dave and Rachel can make it up. At the very least finish ahead of Brendan and Rachel.

Just wanted to point out that BBRachel was dragging her foot on the sled, which helped keep her from flipping over. Art and Rachel did it the correct way--both feet on the sled.

Was there an instruction that said "no foot dragging"? I saw her do that, and thought I would have done the same.

Was it more about Art flipping over (which he obviously did a lot) or having too much friction to get to the bottom? Not many of his crashes seemed close to the finish.

I am happy with that finish. None of these teams were very likable but Rachel and Dave, especially Rachel, were the best of the lot and Art and JJ were my next favs.
