A to Q @GretchenBov yes I have done many of the challenges but when we're shooting #12Shows23Days no time I'm racing to stay ahead

did Brendon hurt himself when he slipped on the mat? A ... only his ego

A to Q agree #AmazingRace is on fire this season extreme relationships, tough competition and you know that means a showdown for the finish

Should be starting momentarily. Looks like they get to go diving in a submersible. Colour me jealous.

Here it is. Yea!

God, I hope they don't show that. I'm a sympathetic. That's one thing I cannot see or hear. It's one reason that I just laugh when someone suggests that I should go into nursing. Bleed all you like, but if you start vomiting you're either on your own or I'll be joining you.

I think much of their Hee Haw schtick is just an act. The dumb hick act is a way to get other teams to underestimate them.

They may be larding it on but not by much, people really talk that way.

I understand people do talk that way but I was speaking about the way they play dumb. As if they have never heard of the rest of the world before.

Posted by dabo on 03-26-12 at 02:08 AM
Well, okay. They may be playing dumb. That doesn't mean they aren't dumb, they just don't think they are dumb.

Dave and Rachel get FF, the guidos have to go back to RB which looks very interesting: Underwater helicopter rescue simulation. All the other teams are bunched so the FF losers are in trouble.

They obviously have no idea how much a bale of hay weighs. Stacking 150 of them? Oh, man. That'd hurt.

Wrong answer! She needs to throw, he needs to stack.

Dave/Rachel finish first win 2 new Cars.

Now, is it because TAR has the emmies that they can still give away cars or is it because Survivor has the car curse?!

"RE: TAR 20 - Episode 6 - East Coast Spoiler Thread"
Posted by Karchita on 03-26-12 at 00:51 AM
Maybe TAR has a car curse, too.

Posted by Earl Colby Pottinger on 03-25-12 at 08:38 PM
I just got to a TV, getting car sick on on TAR does not suggest a winner.

PS. Pitching down the hay must be easier than stacking it. Why is the guy pitching down while the girl does the stacking?

"RE: TAR 20 - Episode 6 - East Coast Spoiler Thread"
Posted by mysticwolf on 03-25-12 at 08:42 PM
Because he suggested it, and she agreed to it. AKA: They're idiots and have no clue what a bale of hay weighs.

Looks like a good FF as more than one team can do it at the same time.

AND IT IS NOT A EASY TASK!

Art/JJ finish 2nd: "Scrub a man's junk to win a million!"

Mark/Bopper and Brenchel finish the Oil detour before the "schoolteachers" find their apple but they do before the commercial. That leave Vanessa and Ralph looking for the apple and the Guidos looking for the detour location. Unfortunately, they also chose apple so can't really make up ground unless they are reaaly lucky.

Was it a trick of the lighting, my eyes, or did I miss something. At the finish line it looked like she (blonde Rachel?) had blood under her nose.

I didn't notice any blood but maybe I was distracted by the 1982 Solid Gold dancer outfit (complete with sequined headband) the other Rachel was wearing this entire leg.

Old Town Baku looks like it sprang up out of the rock.

Go through 1 ton of apples looking for a single one with a flag or use a squeegee and sponges to clean oil off of some strange man who's bathed in it. Um, as odd as it sounds, squeegeeing and bathing would have to be faster.

I call B.S. on this task... some cars were full of green apples, which made it much easier to spot the red and yellow TAR colours, while other cars had red apples, making it tougher to see the ribbon colours. They should have had all of the apples the same colours.

"RE: TAR 20 - Episode 6 - East Coast Spoiler Thread"

Maybe a smart team would have figured that out.

"RE: TAR 20 - Episode 6 - East Coast Spoiler Thread"

Yeah but it could severely handicap a team arriving last and have no choice. Just think it should be a level playing field.

You're too young. "Cheese and crackers" was the childhood approved phrase to be used in place of Jesus Christ. Some more conservative groups believed that because it was a known euphemism it still constituted blasphemy. When I was a kid it either was, or wasn't, considered blasphemous depending upon who heard you say it. Think of it as a sort of Cockney rhyming slang.

The good news: the airport catfight is the last of the scenes we got in that unwelcome Season In Preview cell, so the show's own spoilers end here.

This was a completely non-suspenseful leg once the FF was decided because of those previews.

thanks all.

I of course missed everything after the real ending time; gotta start recording the good wife too.

those looking for the apple didn't seem to know that the flag on it would be obviously visible; looked like they were inspecting each apple carefully. Wonder if there should have been a "sample" apple so they'd know what they were looking for.
