Maybe we could avoid doing the play by play before 8PM in order not to screw up the casino game. Or I'll edit my bet!!!

Eh, I won't be around the whole hour anyway, popping in and out because it's dinner time around here! Kids don't care that there's an early TAR this week, they just want their food...

Give them a clue that will send them searching for the food and watch while they search.

Looks like we're running on time here for 8PM.

A dig at Brendon: The Border patrols guys say that Brendon will not make a decision and will wait to follow them. When Brendon does just that one says: What do you expect; he's a UCLA student.

Do we have some friends of Phillip (Survivor: Redemption Island) on this season? Nary and Jamie are federal agents but they're telling other teams that they are kindergarten teachers.

By hiding their jobs, the women federal agents could be missing out on an alliance with the border patrol guys and the soldier.

Did I really see a black dog with a blonde mohawk?????

You sure did! I'm not entirely sure that was a dog, either, but it would have been perfect for the Mad Max movies.

Thank you. I thought I was having hallucinations.

Thanks, not too many of those in Canada! And I didn't see any with a blonde mohawk in the google gallery!

So the official Canadian response to the States being on time is to be early?

"RE: Waitaminit."
Posted by PepeLePew13 on 02-26-12 at 08:15 PM
Of course. We pride ourselves on being ahead of you guys.

Scale of one to ten: how badly could you screw up the Casino right now?

"RE: Waitaminit."
Posted by michel on 02-26-12 at 08:58 PM
Probably 7. I only remember a vote or two on the 3rd place finishers. The other top 4 were fairly popular

"RE: Waitaminit."
Posted by michel on 02-26-12 at 09:09 PM
I looked again and many of the late votes were on Mark and Bopper! I guess some have the Canadian feeds! Didn't work out that well though since they lost first place on the last task.

Which really messes me up since I am a Canadian in the state of Florida. I missed the first show because I was on a cruise ship eating lobster on formal night. So i bet I will get no pity from you guys.

Instead of pushing TAR back for golf or football like CBS, CTV knows to push the Oscars back for TAR! Priorities!!

"RE: Waitaminit."
Posted by dabo on 02-26-12 at 08:21 PM
LOL! Oscar is ontime but on a different network here.

"RE: Waitaminit."

Oscar is NEVER on time!

"RE: Waitaminit."
Posted by dabo on 02-26-12 at 08:29 PM
Oh, to be sure, they always run long. But they never start late.

Why is that woman asking a dog question? And is the tail wag an answer?

PS. "We only speak country." I know speaking English is limiting but country?

"Solar"
Posted by Earl Colby Pottinger on 02-26-12 at 09:13 PM
The solar stove looks neat, and assuming it is left to the village very useful.

Getting sticks and clay does nothing for the villagers in the long run.

"RE: Solar"
Posted by Estee on 02-26-12 at 09:17 PM
For most Americans, it's that lovely middle category of 'Something you'd love to have, but have no practical use for or realistic place to put.'

But in the mountains where wood is scarce, the solar stove will work 90%+ days without you having to spend time looking for wood.

Some practice required.

Meanwhile, the border patrol convinces itself the sun doesn't work before noon.

And in the clear thin air of the mountain it works better than else where.

PS. Did the federal agents have their pot in the focus or the mirrors aimed right? Why so long for them?

Two seasons' worth of breakdown deja vu, right between the eyes...

Art & JJ are not making themselves liked at this end of the screen. I respect that they waited for Dave & Rachel after working together, but some of their comments against our retreads feel like 'We can't get motivated without hate. Who have we got?' At some point, they're going to wind up following another team, and it's a pretty safe bet that they won't call themselves on the event.

"You know I don't do well under stress!"

OK Rachel, this is The Amazing Race you're on, there is stress every time you turn around!

I didn't watch Big Brother so I didn't know what to expect. Now I know, it could be a lo-oong season if they continue to do well!

2nd of many. When is Brandon going to learn that to stop the flow he has to slap her silly. Sillier.

A hex on the Kentucky guys for giving Rachael the poundage answer. It was building up to be another "Rachael" (epic meltdown).
