I've learned to put up with Chris Harrison's canned lines such as:

"Ladies, Jason, this is the final rose of the evening....Jason, When you're ready.."

"Take a moment, say your goodbyes"

"This is the most dramatic Bachelor in history..."

"25 fabulous, incredible and amazing women...."

I am putting up with Chris because he does do a good job every year at the final rose and women tell episodes where for once he's not spitting out these canned lines.

However, when he said on Tuesday night that Melissa would not come because the emotional scars were too deep for her to face the audience he was both rude and wrong. Why would anyone in Melissa's shoes waste their time to make that second appearance. Jason, Molly and Chris are Melissa's past. She is right to put them behind her and move on. Chris crossed the line.
