Glad someone is here to let me know this stuff! Silly me thinking I can turn the tv on at 7 (central time) and be right on it! LOL

Estee would be the first to tell you that TAR is always delayed by football.

Teams are heading to Indonesia. There aren't any flights out tonight so it's a bunching point.

Departure Time: 3:57 a.m.

Gotta love those unintentional punchlines.

All teams got the same flight to Indonesia and they have to take an overnight train from Jakarta to Yoyakarta. Justin and Jennifer are fighting for reasons that I can't really figure, which gave me a headache.

Their fight was so childish: They simply talked over each other, not listening to each other. They need to go and soon.

I had the same reaction. They were fighting over nothing. I had no idea what the fight was about. Seems to me there are some family issues that come out in ridiculous fights.

Initially I had the same reaction, they seem very disfunctional, neither ever listened to the other. But it also seemed like they were putting it on after awhile since all the other teams were there to see it.

I got the feeling that the editing of that fight was manipulated a bit and made to seem worse than it really was. Then the brother got a confessional about it. I think they may be around for a while and this is their story - look what they overcame.

Yep, it sure looked like a season-long villain edit to me.

If that is the case, maybe I'll give you my casino chips.

that Phil's necklace got larger since the last episode?

It's so beautiful.

30,000 Indonesian rupiah is only worth about $3.40 in US dollars so I guess they didn't want to seem cheap.

I'm also guessing the orphanage got a check for serving as a filming site. Hopefully a fairly large check.

Ethan and Jenna were eliminated along with Ron and Bill.

What's stupid about a double elimination is that the 10th place team, Ethan and Jenna, was actually the first one eliminated. Usually no one wants to be the first eliminated but you had to finish 11th to avoid that!!

So much for the advantage of winning on Survivor.

For a double elimination, it was a poorly designed leg. All the taxis were going in a row so all the teams were packed in a bunch. It came down to luck. Reading that clue was the biggest decider.

Not only did E & J not read the sign, they also lost the clue and had to go back.

If anyone deserved to be eliminated, they did.

Technically, Cathy and Bill deserved to be eliminated last week and Ron and Bill this week.

One for four so far on first visit. (I wish Phil hadn't told them what they missed: just send them back and see how many hours it takes to spot the English words.) Any chance we get as high as four out of eleven?

And the sign is on the fricken table! It didn't occur to them to say "what's this sign?"

They made it out of the same stuff as the invisible clue box?

Or maybe just about everyone went to Ma & Pa's school. 'You are Team #10 in the arrival order, but Team #3 in reading comprehension.' Yeesh.

There were teams I could have lost before Ethan & Jenna or Ron & Bill -- just about equal footing, as I wanted to see the later work flight attendant back alley knowledge and scramble around the hidden parts of airports getting flights no one else could touch. Disappointing results -- but they did it to themselves.

I would have rather kept both teams over Marcus & Amani and Bill & Cathi.

It would have been much more interesting if Phil just told them they missed something and had to go back.

"It would have..."

...but based on the available evidence, it also would have been a six-hour episode. And some of them would have made it back to the cave.

No, it would have taken a Dandrew to get all the way back to Taiwan...

I think even Dandrew would know what spelunking means - unlike a certain racer.

How about something like, "You did not give the proper amount of money to the orphanage," and then let them go back and try to figure out how much they should have given.

"RE: It would have..."

I think the best thing Phil could have said was: "You missed a clue at the orphanage. You need to go back and figure it out."

Justin & Jennifer will fight some more. Cathi will move slowly and fall down.

I am hopeful that the mental challenge next week will be the end of Marcus.

Let's see if after last season, they institute a rule that teams may not share answers. Of course, that may mean there are teams still there.

Here is how it shook out with teams having to go back and give over their money. I don't have everyone's original place at arriving at the pit stop.

Andy and Tommy - team 1 because other teams forgot to hand over their money (they arrived 4th at pit stop)
Laurence and Zac - team 2 - same reason as above (arrived 8th at pit stop)
Kaylani and Lisa - team 3 - third verse same as the first (arrived 10th at pit stop)
Ernie and Cindy - team 4 (arrived 1st at pit stop)
Liz and Marie - team 5 (arrived 2nd at pit stop)
Jeremy and Sandy - team 6
Bill and Cathi - Team 7 (arrived 3rd at pit stop)
Justin and Jennifer - Team 8
Amani and Marcus - Team 9
Ethan and Jenna - Team 10(eliminated)
Ron and Bill - Team 11 (eliminated)

I don't know all the original arrivals at the pit stop because Phil didn't say.

I'm pretty sure that only Jeremy and Sandy passed Bill and Cathy on the return trip to the orphanage so the original order of arrivals had to be:

Ernie and Cindy
Liz and Marie
Bill and Cathi
Andy and Tommy
Jeremy and Sandy
Justin and Jennifer
Amani and Marcus
Laurence and Zac
Ethan and Jenna
Kaylani and Lisa
Ron and Bill

Object lessons in the first two episodes. Flashing bubble sign is the cluebox (in essence), signs on tables may be important. Teams that got knocked back in the standings tonight will likely be paying more attention in the coming legs, I like it personally. Kind of anticlimactic at the end, you guys have to go back and pay the orphans (even though you don't have a chance of not being eliminated at this point), double elimination didn't really enhance anything.
