"House of Carter"

Did anyone else watch this train wreck the other night? Nick Carter decides to gather the family to all live in the same house and bond? That they are all going to love one another and blah blah blah... (snooooozzzzee)

Well I watched a bit last night and it certainly proved you can have alot of money but it doesn't mean you have class. What a bunch of screaming and yelling nut cases!! It actually made my ears hurt. Worse than a Jerry Springer episode, the two boys going on and on about one taking out the other ex's. (the ex in question being Paris Hilton. I don't know why fighting over her had to happen but whatever)

I just caught a little bit of it and it was enough to see that Nick Carter has issues. The guy needs some counseling.

I watched some reruns yesterday. It made me sad for them. I think they all just lean on eachother and need some good parental figures. Nick trying to be dad, brother, and breadwinner for the whole family has to be rough. And Aaron seems like he's gonna be a messed up kid.

The girls seem quite normal and the most stable.

Aaron is heading for rehab. There is something about the way he looks at the moment. Like his whole body is just wasting away.

Yeah, I agree. In my opinion, Nick looks and acts like he is on something, too. I can't watch the show because I think it is strange and sad.

first off, why pretend that you're trying to get your family to be good to each other? why not admit what you're *really* doing: making some friggin money.

i like how the sisters say that nick has all this money but makes them buy their mom(?) a present with their own money. or something like that. whatever it was...

this show blows.

next season we'll see aaron carter having his own version of breaking bonaduce.

Oh yeah, that was the problem with the sisters. They all expect to be given handouts.

Damn straight because that Backstreet Boy comeback didn't really comeback did it?

Part of me feels a little bad for him because it's clear that his whole family really enjoyed spending his money. Seeing as not much is coming in now, he's closed his wallet. It's been said before his mom has been a huge spendthrift with his and his brothers money. So I really don't blame either of them if they don't want to share.

At the rate he's going, it could be.

This show is very sad. I've caught bits and pieces, and unlike a train wreck where you can't look away, for much of this show I have to look away. It's too real and raw and shouldn't be seen by the public. Everyone in the family has major issues--even the girls. I can't believe the producers/crew or whatever are letting them go on with this. It's like watching someone being beaten and not doing anything about it.

I've heard the term "Carters on the Couch" or something like that. I hope they are going for some family therapy, but no it doesn't need to be made into a TV show!

On the other hand, it could be like "Starting Over" (I really miss that show!) for families. Giving assignments and working through issues together. Yes, it could be really worthwhile!

p.s. Aaron looks like he's on meth. And what's the deal with the parents anyway? Did the Mom threaten suicide or something?

Starting Over was good until they lost control of why all the women were there in the first place and it got to be all about some DAW's wanting their 15 minutes.
I wonder what is up with Aaron, exactly?? He DOES look like either he's on meth or crack. Terribly skinny and have you ever seen him EAT anything??
And that DAD! What was HIS story??? Man, I think they all need a BUNCH of therapy, and personally; I'd rather them do it AWAY from cameras. Just look at Danny Bonaduce... UGH!

There is something about his skin that looks most unnatural. I was wondering if he was abusing steroids but there isn't an ounce of tone on him. My guess is meth as it's trendy and body killing.

Yeah this show has to go away. There wasn't a redemming feature about any of these Carters!

Crackheads have terrible skin, too. And what's up with that one sister who's such a beyotch to everybody?? The one always whining, crying and drinking all the time??

Please call in the specialist. These people need some SERIOUS psychotherapy!!
