I am definitely still allowing for new players.
If you choose to do so, great. Sadly I'll have to start you out with 4 points, every week you miss before entering.

Need some advice on gameplay here... The only other time I did a PTTE was Survivor and I didn't change it ever and landed in the middle.

So, I never revised my list when Brittany went off the block. Do I receive points for that error yet? I think if I don't change, I would get the points based on when she does go out.

I had Paola going out 5, so I am guessing that I immediately have 3 points since she was just ousted.

Hmmm .... how many points for each revision?

I miss that Phanatic game where each week you just had to list four names!

This is why I don't gamble (even though it is now legal in my state).

Points only get doled out to the evictee and only when they get evicted from the show.
Compared between where they were on your list and when they were actually evicted is where the points lie.

So far, only Joey and Paola have received points. (So whether or not you had Brittany where-ever on your list won't matter until Brittany gets evicted.)

Revisions are 4 points. So in the case of Paolas eviction I think you did great by NOT revising your list. You had her at 5th evictee, she was 2nd evictee, that equals 3 points.

Good to hear about Hamster Phantasy.
I was debating long and silently over which game to post this season; PTTE, HamsterPhantasy or the BBRAT? I decided that since there is usually a run-over of BB and the start of survivor, I would go easy on myself for BB.
Maybe next summer?

2 players changed their lists and DID get Paola in correct position. (+4)
While the other three players didn't change and did okay. (+3 and +5)
Currently tied for 1st place are both PersonofInterest and starshine.

2 players got a correct Devin placement this week.
1 of them the amazing way, by actually having Devin going in 3rd.
The other by changing his list and snagging the 4 point penalty.
Everyone else did good by only getting 1 point for the week.
The leaderboard finally spreads out...
With PersonofInterest sitting alone in 1st...
and the host, unsurprisingly, in last.

This week both mrc and PofI edited their lists. *phew* finally! Everyone playing has altered their lists. I feel much better now.
While Starshine took advantage of this move by NOT editing and scoring a zero for the week.

The 6th/7th eviction results...

Oof... Tons of drama, last minute changes in strategies and, while I may be biased, a tragi-comic-typed ending.

While Nicole was HOH her target remained Zach. She even had everyone, including Zach's alliance-mates believing it in their best interest to dump @RanceyPants sooner rather than later. And I fell for it.
I was the only one to alter my PTTE list... again. And boy did I muss-up.
Congrats to Starshine, PersonofInterest and suzzee for not believing the hype and sticking with their Jocasta predictions.
BUT... then came the week-in-a-day eviction cycle and it began with the new (and temporary) single HOH.
Attached to this mid-episode change in leadership, I posed a question in hopes of handing out some free-edits.
mrc, suzzee and myself were the only one's to attempt a guess.
The only congratulatory sentiment for this free edit goes to... Me.
I guessed Caleb would win the short-lived HOH and therefore have been afforded a free edit.
(I promise, even with 3 more free edits, I wouldn't be able to catch up to any of you.)
But it wasn't over yet...
The 2nd Evictee was kind of a surprise to everyone.
Myself and PofI had Hayden as F2 (8 points).
Everyone else wasn't much better at guessing his actual eviction than that.
So while scores for everyone went up, quite a bit, the leaderboard remains a familar order.

I guess if they let one or two hamsters come back in, I would need to add them back in. At this point, I don't think it matters who comes back as he/she will be headed right back out.

Not sure if it is related to the double HOH or not, but this season really is boring. I guess I can't blame Derrick for playing the way he is, but I would like s shake up! Donny seems to have given up and most of the rest (other than Frankie) don't seem to be playing.

Okay, Julie has said that on Thursday, 1 Houseguest will be evicted.
BUT that the current evictee AND the 3 previous evictees will all get a chance to re-enter.
Which, to us, means that 1 hamster will leave and 1 recycled hamster will enter.
Similar to last season, the 4 of them will participate in the HOH competition alongside the remaining hamsters. Whomever wins, even if it's a returnee, will become HOH.
Then we also have the supplemental rules of whichever evictee lasts longest will automatically reenter the house.
So...
I have decided to offer 2 free edits.
For the 1st one you must decide if a hamster from Group A or Group B will be the newest HOH.
For the 2nd one you must decide which of the evictees will be the boomerang player and reenter the house.

If you get both correct you will win 2 free edits. (Worth -8 points)
If you get only 1 correct you will win 1 free edit. (Worth -4 points)
If you get neither correct, I'm sorry but there will be a 4 point penalty for having to add a hamster next week. (Or you can take the +4 at the end.)

The 9th eviction results...

was the 9th evictee.

First, Zach sabotaged his own game. Then the Boomerang hamster was decided and re-entered the house, throwing EVERYTHING into disarray.
But when it came to predicting which hamster would return, it was suzzee, starshine, PofI and mrc, who got it correct and received a Free Edit.
And without giving too much away, the winners for predicting which group the HOH winner would come from; congrats to... mrc and starshine for getting Another Free Edit.

The 10th eviction results...

was the 9th evictee.

Donny was the sacrifice this week and some of us took advantage of our recently won free edits to make alterations to the PTTEs and get a zero score for the week.
Both mrc and suzzee got zeroes for the week. PofI got a 1 (and still needs to edit his PTTE to reflect the addition of Nicole) and starshine got a 2 (and still has 2 free edits to play with.)

The 11th/12th eviction results...

was the 11th evictee.
was the 12th evictee.


mrc acheived the best score for the week with a total of ZERO. Excellent job.
Next closest was me and suzzee with a two point total. Both evictees off by one.
PofI and starshine didn't do as well.
This leaves suzzee in 1st overall. With mrc gaining some serious ground and shooting up into 2nd.

What a last couple of weeks IRL. I've been having massive cable issues, finally got a tech out here and he tells me I have massive cable issues. Thanks dude. I was lucky to get internet a few hours a day but not all at once. Then my laptop decided to throw me a curve and I have a couple of keys not working. Of course it was the key I needed to sign in. So did the phone thing and changed it. GAH! I could tell you what keys they are but they don't work. Suffice it to say one key is needed to type the first letter of the striped horselike animal from Africa. wtf (those keys work fine, thank bob. The other is the forward slash. Hardly necessary for any web site typing, right. ugh. Oh and no question mark so I look like a grammar moron. Technology is driving me nuts.

If that weren't enough I had two weeks vacation (now on last day) NOOOO! The Thursday before my daughter broke her ankle playing softball and the first week and a half was having her home and doing the mommy thing. She needed surgery and that all went well but seriously, I need a vacation from my vacation.

Now I'm waiting for a house phone service tech to track down the reason I can't get incoming phone calls. I don't know why I still have a house phone anyway but I do.

So, now that I'm done whining & such I'm ready to drink & finish up the BB season. Time for Survivor and a new batch of Idiots.

I haven't been around for awhile. Computer issues but mostly work interfering with my personal life way too much!

Suppose I will try to make up for a lot of damage done to my PTTE...

Although, I think it would be a hoot if Victoria was taken to final two and actually won. That is the only thing that might make this snooze of a season at least a little funny!

mrc, PofI and myself correctly guessed frankie's ranking, getting zeroes for ourselves... finally.
suzzee was off by 1 and starshine was off by 2.
This allows for PofI to sneak into 3rd. With suzzee still in first and mrc continuing to close the gap.

The eagle has landed. He is currently nesting comfortably in Weymouth, Mass. His actual nesting items do not arrive for a few more days. Which means even though I am on a computer, it is not mine and does not have the spreadsheets and graphics programs needed to wrap this sucker up.
I thank you for your patience and understanding through this time of great change. I only hope to measure up to the amount I feel I have to make up.

Well, the show is done and so is my move.
The results were predictable with the show, the results of the move not so much.
But I'm not here to recant the steps in the move but to present the results of the BB16PTTE.

Victoria was our last evictee and with the last chance to edit the PTTEs pretty much everyone got a zero.
Then it came down to Cody or Derrick and since we all knew that in that situation Derrick would trounce his competition, we all again did very very well.

What it came down to, in the end, was the FreeEdits, which left unused would result in -4 points for anyone who had one remaining.

How this all shook out is like so...

Congrats MRC (and suzzee, so close!).

Kind of a predictable ending, but it is probably good that Derrick won since otherwise those pesky hamsters would have been taking all of that food out of his daughter's mouth!
