So what do you think about the next season rumors about the Kara & Casey team?

*twitch*

I dunno, with the look on her husband's face at the Idol results show I suspect they might be the first team taken out by a sniper.

Mama don't let your babies grow up to be cowboys.

Phil has a PSA about Chile during the first commercial break.

Jet/Cord 11:20 pm.

Take one of two buses to Argentina. Drive to an old saloon. Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid stayed there and they have to play cards against the gnome.

"RE: Cards"
Posted by Earl Colby Pottinger on 02-28-10 at 08:10 PM
This game is rigged for the Cowboys to win, they have seen the movie.

Plus they've lived the life.

The course is set before the cast is -- but a team being chosen with skills that suit the course? Play that song again and look out for the hometown finishing note.

Butch & Sundance: one of the original TAR teams. (The gnome? Who cares?)

lets recap

phyically walking the lines

wrangling lamas

milking cows
and now playing poker

do these activities seem cowboooy?

"RE: Lines"
Posted by Earl Colby Pottinger on 02-28-10 at 08:20 PM
Cowboys walk lines? I knew their job was hard, but that hard?

"RE: Lines"
Posted by vennui on 02-28-10 at 08:27 PM

fence lines

Don't call this "playing poker." Without any betting involved, it's just watching for the luck of the cards to fall to you. It's really a coin toss on any hand whether you'll win or the gnome will, with a slight chance that there would be a tie.

AAAARRRRHHHH! I was on the wrong channel. It normally shows TAR but right now they are too busy showing Canada's win over the USA in hockey.

What is wrong with these Canadian TV stations thinking the Olympics win is more important than TAR?

"RE: TAR 16 Ep. 3 ECST"
Posted by Snidget on 02-28-10 at 08:18 PM
All the channels would be on TAR if you'd lost the game.

"Carol/Brandy"
Posted by Snidget on 02-28-10 at 08:09 PM
Maybe lost already

Brent/Caite She is sick and they are going to the hospital. She's really dehydrated.

Jordan and Jeff leave at 2:01

4:20 they get out of the hospital which is after the last team leave. Afraid they won't catch up. They see the cops still at the hotel.

"RE: Carol/Brandy"
Posted by Earl Colby Pottinger on 02-28-10 at 08:11 PM
I think it is a bad sign if you start getting sick from the stress so early in the race.

"RE: Carol/Brandy"
Posted by PepeLePew13 on 02-28-10 at 08:55 PM
She's stressing out over having to read a map in this race.

Carol and Brandy question Jet/Cord about the bus yesterday. Jet/Cord not feeling the love.

First Bus
Jet/Cord

The rest in the second bus.

Everyone following the Cowboys.

They are going to pull over and look at the map. Hoping the other teams don't know where to go.

Rest of the teams get there and driving. Seems to be confusion.

Dan and Jordan stall out on the hill.

"5 card stud"
Posted by Snidget on 02-28-10 at 08:14 PM
Joe and Heidi win first. Clue under the gnome.
Brandy and Carol win next
Cowboys having problems with the gnomes poker face. And they keep losing.

"Cowboys are smart?"
Posted by Earl Colby Pottinger on 02-28-10 at 08:15 PM
Cowboys pretend not to know where they are going to fool the others, did not work well however.

Cowboys however are not good poker players.

"Roadblock"
Posted by Snidget on 02-28-10 at 08:15 PM
Gaucho festival.

Steer roping. rope it 18 feet away and then get the clue.

Jet/Cord finally win a hand.

"RE: Roadblock"
Posted by Snidget on 02-28-10 at 08:16 PM
Second group starts to arrive.

And guess what, the Cowboy is the first to get the clue.

Search the cliffs over the river for their next clue.

"RE: Roadblock"

now we lasso

"RE: Roadblock"
Posted by vennui on 02-28-10 at 08:20 PM

though they are in a ranch country remember the many pounds of meat eating challange that rob did't do?

I bet later they will be in tutus and dancing

"RE: Roadblock"
Posted by Snidget on 02-28-10 at 08:20 PM
Carol gets the steer roped second.

Then Heidi.

"Steer Roping"

The race is rigged for the Cowboys I tell you, RIGGED!

It's their quote: 'Way of Life'.

"Detour"
Posted by Snidget on 02-28-10 at 08:23 PM
Horse Sense
Horse Power

Follow a compass to find a bag of stolen money and deliver to the bandit. Coordinates have to match.

Pseudo Polo on a fake pony and get the ball to the end in 9 strokes or less.

"RE: Detour"
Posted by Earl Colby Pottinger on 02-28-10 at 08:27 PM
And the cowboys don't seen so comfortable when they are not riding a real horse.

"Cowboys were right"
Posted by Earl Colby Pottinger on 02-28-10 at 08:32 PM
The search task is killing Carol and Brandy, and the rest of the teams doing the same task are not doing so good either.

"RE: Detour"
Posted by Snidget on 02-28-10 at 08:35 PM
LAST EDITED ON 02-28-10 AT 08:36 PM (EST)

Horse Sense
Carol/Brandy--find a shovel and start digging--end up switching

Jeff/Jordan--see a rope and the ropes pull it up, don't have to dig. Did not match the coordinates. Did not match the second time

Joe/Heidi--he has a compass on his watch doesn't think they need to count steps--not the right one, going to switch

Horse Power
Jet/Cord Wanted a real horse, get it done the first time.
Carol/Brandy--get this done on the first try.
Steve/Allie--try to do it laying over the horse. He's 57, what isn't hurting.
Joe/Heidi. Keep tipping the horse over when swinging the mallet.

And it's English in a one-round knockout!

"Horse Sense"
Posted by Earl Colby Pottinger on 02-28-10 at 08:40 PM
Does not look so hard if you JUST FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS, what is wrong with all these people that they can't follow the clues as they are written down.

"RE: Horse Sense"
Posted by Snidget on 02-28-10 at 08:48 PM
Follow the directions? That's not the Amazing Racer Way.

Why follow the directions? It isn't like they tell you how to get the task done or you get a time penalty for mistakes or anything. {/sarcasm}

"Falling off"
Posted by Earl Colby Pottinger on 02-28-10 at 08:35 PM
What does it take to fall off a wooden horse? Now that is some bad riding.

"'Pretend it's my face.'"

And the quotes just keep on coming.

Wait, you mean God actually watches the Amazing Race?

"RE: TAR 16 Ep. 3 ECST"
Posted by MsShel330 on 02-28-10 at 08:42 PM
Jeff realizes that he's stupid and that he and Jordan shouldn't reproduce. It doesn't matter who wins the Race, the human race wins with that belief.

"RE: TAR 16 Ep. 3 ECST"
Posted by Snidget on 02-28-10 at 08:45 PM
Did you hear the cheering?

I heard the cheering, and the huge sighs of relief.

"Truer words were never spoken."
Posted by Estee on 02-28-10 at 08:46 PM
'We definitely shouldn't reproduce.' I'm still giggling.

The bad news: they're too dumb to figure out birth control.

"Police"
Posted by Earl Colby Pottinger on 02-28-10 at 08:45 PM
The more I watch the police in action, the more scared I become about my safety. At-least I have the RCMP up here fall back on.

*snort*

"RE: Police"
Posted by PepeLePew13 on 02-28-10 at 09:00 PM
Well, the more I watch them, the more plausible it is that they're undercover cops. Nobody would ever believe that they could be cops with their blundering!

"Back with the polo ponies"

Dan/Jordan still ate it and a bunch other teams show up.

Dan/Jordan finally figure it out.

The Lawyer Moms are last, especially after switching tasks.

"Finish Order"
Posted by Snidget on 02-28-10 at 08:55 PM
1 Jet/Cord 10 day trip to Patagonia and a trip to Santiago (or maybe not)
2 Steve/Allie
3 Carol/Brandy
4 Joe/Heidi
5 Jeff/Jordan
6 Dan/Jordan
7 Brent/Caite
8 Louie/Michael
9 Monique/Shawne as night falls. They have been eliminated from the race

"RE: Finish Order"
Posted by MaryKat on 02-28-10 at 08:59 PM
I can't keep the 2 Jordons apart. Why did they have 2 racers in the same race with the same name?

"RE: Finish Order"
Posted by PepeLePew13 on 02-28-10 at 09:02 PM
One has a banana and the other is a peach. Shouldn't be hard to tell a male and a female apart.

"RE: Finish Order"
Posted by MaryKat on 02-28-10 at 09:06 PM
Silly Willy, I can tell them apart on the screenn, but not when people write about them.

Laughed hard when Jordan told Phil he scares her and he said "You scare me too".

"RE: Finish Order"

Me too, especially when she said something about the "blank stare."

Someone's gotta love Jordan. I guess it's up to you and me.

"RE: Finish Order"
Posted by Estee on 03-01-10 at 11:00 AM
But would you reproduce with her?

"RE: Finish Order"
Posted by Tummy on 03-01-10 at 01:04 PM
I laughed at that remark by Jeff. At least they know when they're being stupid - I've seen alot of teams be completely ignorant and still rant about how intelligent they are.

At least Jeff/Jordan are cute when they're being dumb and Jordan's not screaming at Jeff for making a mistake.

"RE: Finish Order"
Posted by AyaK on 03-01-10 at 03:35 PM
After the way Jeff and Jordan misread things in Big Brother, it's nice to see that they are aware of their limitations in the IQ department.

And now it's obvious why they were suspicious of Michelle, considering the intelligence differential. They must have thought she was clairvoyant.

"RE: Approaching Intersection."

That's one way to slow Jet and Cord down. They'll arrive at the Intersection with a 2,898-hour lead, then have to wait for team #2 to show up.
